Great waffle maker that stores well
Update: had it six months and still going strong. The flat plates work v well for making toasted sandwiches too and much quicker than previous toasties machines I've owned. Would 1000% buy again 😁 I love it. It makes waffles without them sticking and breaking apart. It's rectangular, so it sits well when you're storing it, it's not much larger than a square waffle, but it is obviously thicker! Still v small and fits even in our overcrowded kitchen storage. Haven't had any issues with overflowing yet, as I've underfilled each time by accident. Like with most baking, it's a bit of trial and error. I've used the BBC Food fluffy American pancake recipe for the ones in the photo. About half a ladle per waffle (probably needed a couple tbsp more) No problems with it cooking in the middle. Took about 8 minutes or so for each waffle. You can just keep popping it open and checking til you get the brown you like. If you time it and work out what works for you, it's much easier the next time.

Compact waffle maker
I bought this waffle maker as it is compact, with the option to cook waffles, doughnuts or (small) toasted sandwiches. It has removable plates for ease of cleaning. The main reason for buying it is so that my grandchildren can make their own waffles/doughnuts/toasties when they come to visit. I did a test run with waffles and quickly realised that it is easy to overfill the waffle plate which results in the batter mixture overflowing down the side of the machine. The plates themselves are removable and very easy to clean, the outside not so as the batter cooks onto the outside of the machine and is hard to get off. However, that is a lesson learned, to not add too much batter! I gave four stars as I have not yet attempted to cook doughnuts or toasties.

Not worth the bother
I bought this because it was the right size for me and I was happy with the results the first time I used it. However, as other reviewers have reported, it simply stopped working on the second time it was used - no warning, the indicator light just went out and never came back on. Why Amazon continue to provide an outlet for garbage like this is beyond my comprehension. Don't risk it, it is not worth the bother.

Cute
If you live in a flat, space is of a premium and this little cutie is ideal. Makes great waffles and tucks away in a cupboard with no problem. Might not be ideal for a family due to the size and having to cook everything one at a time, but what it does cook, is great. I now batch cook waffles on this (not too brown); store them in the fridge; then put them in the air fryer when I want them and they come out great. Think a couple of basic recipes could be included, but they are easily available elsewhere. Good price (with discount) and I'm very pleased with it..

Non stick does not last
Bought this 31October 2023, it's now 13 Jan 2024 and I'm looking for a better waffle maker. Initially it worked great, waffles popped out lovely. But now, even with greasing the plates, the waffles just stick, on both plates, cutting the waffle in half. This isn't just the first waffle cooked, it's the second one too, so annoying. This was an expensive mistake at £28 for 2 and a half months use, save your money.

A very nice machine
I am single and wanted a sandwich maker which also makes Waffles as wellas being easy to clean. Well this usit does it all. I have made Waffles and toasted sandwiches and it does the job very well. The plates can be removed for cleaning and as I do not have a dish washer they are easy to do by hand. For me it is the best gadget I have.

Small unit but is versatile
The waffle plates work really well and we have had some excellent waffles as a result. But the plates can be made flat for toasties. The unit has a little bit of weight so they get squashed just a little which is great as the result is well toasted and very tasty. Like this little waffle iron.
