A great small radio, very loud and clear, very good am and fm, but the sw really needs you to attach a croc clip long wire to work well, but this is the same with all small shortwave radios depending on your location, I'm in the U.K. and sw signals are getting fewer and fewer as internet radio comes in use more and more. The mp3 side of this radio is great and please be aware that although this radio will work on two AA batteries, it is rechargeable on its own internal battery-something the adverts for this radio don't seem to make clear.

Great little radio. Didn't look at the size when I bought it and was pleasantly surprised how small it is. Also very loud.
