Great for preventing weeds. I am using it for hillsides that I don’t want weeds to grow on. You can easily cut holes for any plants you want.

Heavy duty, it is going to hold up for a few years if not longer. If you do cut it, it easily starts shedding / shredding but it doesn't affect the middle of the product. If you cut it just prepare to overlap a little bit to prevent holes / gaps where soil and weeds can get through. It's big enough to double up as well.ALSO - it comes folded, so it is only 3 ft, then folded for another 3 foot. I just ended up using it as 3ft and kept it folded.

We opted to try this product in leiu of purchase of a near identical product. This landscaping fabric was the same dimensions and when compared side by side, it looked like it could have been fabricated at the same facility. The big difference was the huge price gap between the two products! Nearly 45%!!! Due diligence definitely paid off in this case.

This product is amazing and have used it to build an outdoor presentation area by putting gravel on top. The squirrels have figured out how to chew through some spots but hopeful they will move elsewhere as the squirrels were causing some many dangerous holes before placing this down with gravel on top.

Not permeable, I spilled an entire drink on it and it has been an hour I came back and the drink was still puddled on top of it. I just poked a hole with a landscaping pin and it went through quickly. BUT I am not mad at it. Nothing is going through this. Just make sure you poke holes or make a nice little cut around your plant. This stuff is awesome!! I will 100% purchase this again. And again. And again. I highly recommend this stuff.

I ordered this fabric months ago to prepare for garden. I unrolled it today and it’s full of rips and holes. Of course it’s past the return window. What a waste!!!
