The packaging is a nice black pouch with another clear pouch that contains a check valve. The first thing I notice is the plastic cap they have over the female part to protect the threads from any damage. The product is very solid, and the fit is nice and snug. Not much tightening is needed. I will upgrade the review; I am just waiting for one more piece to hook 2 compressors up in tandem. I would recommend these to anyone who may be hooking up air compressors in tandem if you need a good, solid check valve. It's worth $17 a piece. Working perfect with my tandem air compressors.

I bought two of these so I could hot swap two different cap assemblies for testing and these check valves never leaked. In my project, they routinely see 300psi through them and hold 90psi of CO2. I have no doubt they can hold lots more. I have had other cheaper check valves of inferior materials that held liquids just fine but leaked with gases. These don't leak with gases - CO2. I did have some crud (flake of dried epoxy) get stuck in the valve that I had to disassemble and blow out, but that was my fault. What was really nice was how easy it was to disassemble/assemble with needle nose pliers.

This check valve is well built but has a little too hard of a release pressure for the low-pressure system I was hoping to use it on. It opens at approximately 20lbs. pressure. I need about 4- 5 lbs.

I own a brewery & needed a check valve in a pinch for one of our tanks. Ordered this one on Amazon & installed it. Very happy with the quality and performance and will purchase again to replace any others as needed.

Says 915 PSI Max pressure. Used it in a system that is about 700 psi and it failed after 2 weeks. Broke apart internally.

Valve has all metal parts and one rubber o ring, will fall apart with vibrations, has nothing locking the internals in place, once the retainer plate comes out the plunger will get stuck on the close position so be ware of this issue

Perfectly good check valve but I tried running it on a car with a mechanical fuel pump and it doesn't generate enough pressure to open the check valve. Probably only should be used on fuel injected vehicles.
