Amazon ran this on special for like $20. I checked it out and grabbed it. I am usually a heavy euro gamer but have some great medium games, I could not beleive how much fun this game is and the wuality of the components. The rules are even excellent. I would easily pay $75 for this game. great at count of 3 or 4.

This is a very interactive worker placement/area control board game with many interesting choices to make and varying routes to victory. Just keep in mind this is not a super easy game to pick up and play. Nothing too intense though, if you've already got experience with somewhat complex modern board games. I found the directions a bit tricky to fully grasp, but it came together easily enough once I gave it a playthrough.

This is a great game. Rules on the simple side with lots of interaction between players.

This game is so good, excellent euro that does things differently and a reasonable amount of variability. The problem is the boards all warped really bad within two days of being out of the shrink wrap. Even more of a problem because the main game board is made up of seven smaller boards so it's even more apparent. Hopefully just a fluke and not the norm because the game itself is so good.
