ASICS Kid's PRE-Contend 4 Pre-School Running Shoes

Not only does my son say he feels "faster," in these, he enjoys the comfort and ease of putting these on himself as a preschooler. Plus, the added velcro strap secures his foot while allowing him the independence of dressing himself. We found that for our sons, these are the only shoes that they wear to school and to all activities- and more upscale events. They are durable by little guy standards- the tread holds up as an everyday shoe that is pounded on at the playground, gym and on the trails. Of course, it is not infinite and after 4 months to a semester, wear and tear appears but again as a shoe worn 7 days a week, we are so satisfied that we line up a new pair. Equally cool, as a growing guy, the new size offers the same feel as the beloved prior pair. Again, happy that we found a reasonable price on these here because these can get pricey.

Excellent sneaker.Great shoe for thin feet.My daughter loves the styling and cushion and overall fit.The velcro strap keeps the shoe on just DON'T over tighten it.This is her third pair. I've purchased two before in smaller sizes and have a bigger size of a different color of the same shoe when she moves up again. You get multiple sizes of a shoe that works with your childs foot - it saves time and effort.

Comfy shoe for active kids. Great support for lots of running and playing. There's lots of arch support. The Velcro is long enough to keep feet securely in the shoe. There's lots of grip on the bottom. I love that the tip of the toe area has extra rubber so hopefully the fabric doesn't rip as soon as it often does in kids' shoes. My daughter has wide feet and these fit perfectly. She's a 12.5 and we ordered a 13. The only reason I'm ranking this a 4 instead of a 5 is because the color varied greatly from the image in the post. It looks like a bright, light, teal/blue but as you can see from my photos, it's actually more of a dark blue.

Fits as expected for size 3 girl. So far have been very durable to play and running. Daughter loved the coloring. I would buy again. Bonus no double and triple tying while we are trying to get out of the house.

I love these shoes for my three kids and ASICS are all I will buy for them. I’ve tried other brands through the years for my oldest (age 7) but they would wear out too fast or fall apart. I have learned my lesson just to buy these for her now and my two younger ones as well.

Wasn’t sure about buying my daughter black sneakers but thread were on sale. She actually really liked them out of the box and I was pleasantly surprised at how cute they are. ASICS are one of my go-to brands for quality sneakers. Daughter has worn this style before and they’ve lasted.

Love these ASICS shoes for Kids. They fit my 4 y/o perfectly and he isn't having any trouble with them. They are light and allow him to be agile and run well with these shoes. The toe box is just the right fit as my little one has quite wide feet. We find it impossible to find good shoes for him, so we are really pleased with this shoe.

My son adores these shoes but is particularly hard on the velcro strap. One of them broke within the first week but otherwise these shoes have been a dream
