Fishing is one of the best activities providing both excitement and relaxation, however one thing it doesn't always provide is the easiest weather/conditions to stand, sit, wade in. That being said, I have purchased multiple North Face Horizon Peak (S) shirts each year which are expensive, but do the trick: free range of motion and comfort. This year, North Face had really boring/ugly colors so I decided to look for a suitable alternative (might as well look good doing the activity?), low and behold I found this. I was excited as the sizing chart said it would fit me and it is pretty stylish (as one could hope for in a technical fishing shirt). I have broad shoulders for my frame 40 and a smallish waist 29...the small should have fit...I can fit two of me in this. I am going to have to take it to be tailored now in the back which will cost as much as the shirt cost...All in all, it is a pretty cool shirt. The cotton is pretty rough at first, but after a couple washes it was wearable. The venting is awesome. I just wish that this shirt constrained its sizing chart to the regular sizing and let the wearers determine if a larger size would be more suitable for freedom of motion, rather than making that decision for the consumer...ie me

Seems to be a nice, well built, functional shirt. It is soooo large though. I ordered size large thinking it would give me plenty of extra space to move around in..well it does. In fact there is almost half again enough material to wrap around me. In most shirts, I normally wear a large and I am surprised how big this shirt is. I'm keeping it though and can wear around the house and maybe over a few layers this winter.

This shirt is not just useful, but also stylish. Normally wearing a useful shirt means you look like a dork but this shirt accomplishes both form and function. The small fits a 5'6" 130 lb guy as expected.

Perfect shirt for travel! Pockets fit passport and tickets for easy access when transiting airports. Fishing pole tab if great place to coil excess headphone cord. Easy to launder in hotel sink. You may be disappointed if you try to iron this shirt - it has many pockets and wrinkles thoroughly and spectacularly.

My husband looks very, very handsome! These shirts are very well made, Everything of these is exceptional, the pockets, the fabric, the size and the colors are perfect. Every man should have one of this shirt in his closet. Thank you COLUMBIA and Thank you Amazon for my credit card too.

LOVED the material and price. We will be on the lookout again for more from this maker. The shirt kept me nice and cool on the streams in the hot sun at high altitudes.

I ordered a medium and it fits like a large to extra large. Very nice shirt but picking the right fit is very hard online.
