KLUTZ Stitch & Style Pouches Craft Kit

My granddaughters, age 9 and 11 both were able to make these with just a little help from their grandma. They are very cute and a successful finished product is important, because they are beginners in sewing. We used fabric glue rather than sewing on the little eyes and some of the small features. They were able to hand stitch the bulk of it, with a little help making knots to finish. A very well designed product, I would highly recommend it!

I liked how it came with everything you needed and how it showed a book of all the things you can make with step by step instructions.

It's a shame you only get 4 zippers & 3 (heart shaped) buttons.Also each pouch will take up most of 1 of the included sheets of felt so you can't make 2 of one color pouches (you can't make the white gumball machine & the white yeti for example).Still it's reasonable priced. Good quality (except the needles - their plating was coming off but they work fine). Cute & easy patterns.Buying more felt is cheap... buttons aren't too expensive. Zippers are a bit pricey-er.The pouches are slightly less wide/tall than a standard pen. The zippers measure about 5" but the actual zipper track is aporox 4". I knew that from the description but it's still disappointing - that's really the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star product.

My daughter and I made the yeti. Came out super cute. Zipper was a bit hard for her but we figured it out. Teaches basic pattern use and the sewing is beginner except maybe for the zipper part. The zippers were really long so I had to modify.

These are fun. I bought these for my 10 years old daughter. It says 8 +... i would not recommend for an 8 yrs old. They are easy to use but zipper placement needs adult help. Another annoying thing is pull 2 threads from the whole thread string and then threading into needle is challenging for daughter. But it is a fun activity to do alongside her. I think more 10+

This was the perfect sewing kit for my 7 yr old who had never picked up a needle before!! She was able to complete the Yeti pouch with only minimal assistance from an adult and it was adorable!! We love the variety of project ideas that the book provides... Great buy!!

My daughter loved it. She like sewing and she can make something and use it. Great gift for a creative girl.
