I picked this up on sale at $16. Jump on it at this price, however it's worth much more. It's powered via a USB-C connection on the back, and a USB-C to USB-A cord, plus a brick to place in a wall type outlet. This is all in the box, but I use my own longer cord in order to reach my surge protector. There's no internal battery, but I won't miss it. For sleep purposes I wouldn't want it unplugged. It's plenty small enough for travel and carry on luggage. It gets loud enough, and in fact any louder could be distracting. The controls have a quality feel. There's four sound types offered, fan, general white noise, nature, and music. There's five selections each for fan and white noise, and seven for both nature and music for a total of 24. There's a separate button for each type, which you press to cycle through the selections. I mainly bought it for the nature sounds, but the general white noise offerings are now my favorites. There's three timer modes on the back, 30, 60, and 90 minutes, or simply leave these off for continuous play. I'm hugely satisfied, but will it last? So far so good in that regard, but if there are any issues I promise to come back and update this review.

I have bought about 5 of these. Have given a couple to kids, as we all like to sleep with a fan but in the winter, it’s too cold. These are easy to take on trips, too. Nice to have a familiar sound to sleep too. I have tinnitus and it helps to block that too.

A gift for my Dad and he is obsessed. He’s thanks me for it almost every time I see him. He said it works great and helps him sleep better. Very happy with this purchase. I bought it specifically because it’s very user friendly and he’s not great with technology and has had no problems. He said the sound is great and it’s been durable and the price point is fantastic.

So this noise machine has been great and we've had it for 3 years now. However, we just recently had a crazy thing happen with our 3 year old. She bumped the block at the outlet and it broke. For the price, that's no big deal, except the way it broke left the two prongs of the outlet still plugged in with two exposed ends of the outlet sticking out. This thing has been unplugged/moved around just a few times in its life, so I was surprised it broke, but how it broke left a huge safety hazard. For the price, the noise machine is great, but the USB block is worth replacing if you're using this around kids.

This is my second purchase of this sound machine and i LOVE it (my first one got water damage, my fault lol)! This is the best sound machine if you’re looking for something simple. I love that it doesn’t have any lights on it and it doesn’t have 400 different sounds which i think would’ve been excessive for me. It has an automatic turn off that you can use with 30/60/90 minutes or you can leave it on all night. The sounds are super clear and high quality and the volume level has a huge range. It also has saved your last sound, volume level, and timer so all you have to do is turn it on and it will use the previous one. I love how small and sleek it is. I literally couldn’t recommend this enough!!

I bought one of these to use the white noise when we kept our grandson overnight. We like it so much we have 1 in every bedroom of our house, and 2 for our RV. I bought this particular one for my mother to drown out the noisy neighbors so she can sleep! It's a great product. There are multiple choices of fans, music, nature sounds, and white noise. There are adjustments for the tone depth of the fan and white noise as well. We use them at home and take them along if we go to a hotel. We bought 2 to leave in our RV as well. They are small and fit well on the nightstand with a lamp and other items. They plug into a regular outlet, or you can remove the end and plug it into a USB port for power. I can't say enough about them!

I first discovered this product at a hotel. I'm addicted to white noise and this is the best investment ever. I take this bad boy with me everywhere. No more searching YouTube videos to sleep or killing my battery for a good night's sleep. My favorite is the box fan sound and the rolling thunder with rain. I love all of the settings and basic function. Easy to feel the buttons when half asleep. Bonus, it runs nonstop with no interruptions!

I have purchased two of these sound machines (and several other brands, too). Overall, this one *would* be the best, especially for travelling, but between the glitches in both machines, I can't currently recommend it to anyone. My first sound machine (purchased about a year ago) had three problems: 1) a strange, metallic sound, in the fan loop that I preferred most, 2) this is the most important problem-- there is a short somewhere, either in the power cord, or something wrong with the machine itself, so it does not consistently power on or stay on, if it moves and 3) something loose inside the machine that rattles if you shake it. The second machine (purchased about 2 weeks ago) has a glitch in the sound loop for the fan sound that I prefer where it just stops playing for a second. It also does not get as loud as the first sound machine. A few other things of note, the newer machine is significantly lighter than the older one, which was a pleasant surprise since I use this one as my travel machine since it is so small and lightweight. This machine is *so* close to being 5 stars, if it was just a little better quality. I will be exchanging the second machine in the hopes that the third one will be perfect. Lighter weight like the second, no glitches in my preferred fan sound, and no shorts in the power cord or things rattling inside the machine... and a little louder, like the first one, would be nice, too!
