Pelletier & Co. tonic syrups are the result of many years of research and craft. We know there are other tonic syrups out there, and believe me we tried them all. We loved the concept of tonic syrups – better value for money, they take up less space, and you can add as much flavor as you like and easy to take everywhere. But we didn’t find a tonic syrup that could compete with big brands like Fever Tree, Fentimans, or Q Tonic in taste when diluted (Have you ever wondered why bartenders don’t use them that much?). Some lacked the bitter punch, others had way too much flavor and overpowered the gin, some did not taste like anything at all, or worse, tasted like artificial preservative – that chemical taste you find in cheap tonic! So we embarked on the journey of developing a product that could compete with amazing premium tonic water brands. This was no easy task, it required the help of chemists, food scientists, flavorists and many world class bartenders – did the other syrup brands go through the same hell as we did? We’ll never know… The result is a tonic syrup that when diluted properly, and by properly we mean using a jigger and measuring everything (No cheating!!) you get a tonic you can easily drink by itself. We set out to conquer bars and restaurants and had great success, because we become a true alternative to traditional premium mixers behind the bars of world class bars and restaurants (Yes, we have 50 best restaurants and bars as our clients – check out our webpage! Our carbonated tonic water competitors hate us… Hopefully you will enjoy our tonic syrups and become part of the growing family of Pelletier & Co that is rapidly growing in several countries (We started two years ago!). Note that we use real botanicals, cane sugar, and NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, PRESERVATIVES, OR SWEETENERS. We do use a preservative, but it is a natural one - so our syrups will never have a chemical taste and won't spoil easily either. Cheers!
