I had a larger melter that could fit slabs of about 35lbs but it took so long to heat to temp and it was never accurate not to mention I had 3 units fail on me. This melter can’t hold as much as my previous but it holds quite a bit and melts the wax to correct temp quickly. I love the insulation function once it’s to temp. No leaky spout and there's an indicator of which side is off/on to prevent accidents of leaving it on when melting. I wish I made the investment sooner because this is a good quality and solid melter.

I've had this for a few years now and I really love it! I do keep a separate thermometer inside the melter to make sure that the temperature is accurate and it's pretty close. Works great!!

The wax melts very quickly but doesn't burn at all. Definitely a must have machine for candle making. Very good product, everything runs well and works at the right speed, easy to clean after use and not too big in size, I'm not disappointed I bought this tool and it's very helpful for my work. Highly recommend this tool.!!!

I’m a full-time candle maker, so having a reliable melter is extremely important. I’ve had multiple types of melters in the past including a digi boil and these toautos are my favorite. I have three melters this size and one 9/10lb toauto.I’ve found the heating element and the insulation of the melter stands out above the rest. When I had metal melters, I felt as though the temperature didn’t regulate as well, however, the insulation in these melters does a great job. I do wish they made an even larger size, but maybe they will down the road.

I CAN'T GET THE TEMPERATURE TO WORK WHERE I NEED IT. MAYBE MINE IS DEFECTIVE. THE DIAL IS SET AT 168 OR 190 ISH AND NO MATTER HOW LONG I WAIT FOR THE MELTER TO GET COMPLETELY WARM, MY WAX GETS COOKED OR THE TEMP IS NOT HOT ENOUGH. I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GAME CHANGER FOR ME.

The wax melter I received had a smaller black hard plastic faucet/spigot! I had purchased the smaller 5L melter last year and love it. It has the bigger metal spigot/faucet which helps with the wax to pour more efficiently as it stays hot. Currently needed a much larger one so I ordered the 30L and was very disappointed with the change, especially when it was not represented on the website w this new spigot w the black smaller plastic version. I returned it and still have not received any feedback from ToAuto.
