I got the 256GB model.The Good:It's fast, definite improvement over standard hard disks. Win7 starts in 7secs or so. My laptop doesn't have a SATA III interface, luckily this SSD is compatible with SATA II, so it works for my uses. However due to my own system limitations I'm unable to take full advantage of this SSD. The software provided by Transcend online is useful to monitor the SSD health as well as for erasing all data.The Bad:I checked the warranty online, it showed active from the time of manufacture rather than the time of purchase. So mine isn't exactly 5yr warranty but 4yrs & some months due to the unit being manufactured in ~Oct 2019 or so.Anyways not a deal breaker so far.I did a fresh install if win7 rather than cloning it from my old harddisk. I didn't create partitions, just used the whole drive for C:I also ordered the Kingston KC600 SSD, using that one in my mom's laptop for same purpose as above. In comparison, I didn't notice a difference in performance as such.

I've used this for a MacBook Pro, 2012 model.Works very nicely. faster and better than the smaller consistent SSD I had installed prior to this.Comparing it to HDD's is a no-brainer - as far as the SSD top-brands go, this is pretty much worth it.Transcend do have their own disk cloning software but it works only on windows. You will have to use time-machine or Mac-pilot or something to clone ot back-up & restore when mounting for the first time.I do use a fair amount of graphics & animation softwares and this is pretty seamless.

Excellent product in affordable price. The only demerit I have found is that the system cloning software was not able to clone the system properly, as a result, I could not boot the system from the SSD. However, I have solved this problem using third party system cloning software.

The media could not be loaded. I liked the ssd till now but not satisfied by the build quality of it. The metal used is good but not good enough. It is flimsy and it qould be as it is made to work as an internal ssd. In the video, I have shown how it sounds.I will add its performance test when I get a the usb connector that I ordered. All in all, it seems to be a good one. Got it for ₹3045.If using it externally, like me, then please also buy a cover. I will buy it later but for now its awesome.Edit: It got blazing fast speeds of 409 MB/s reads with 361MB/s writes. You might think that these are not good enough compared to other drives. You are true but this I used externally with a sata 3 to usb 3 connector. That brought some bottleneck to its performance. I am sure that it will give me speeds of upto 525+ MB/s if used internally with 450+MB/s of write speeds.

Got this 4 TB SSD for around 16k!!! Initially I thought the speed won't be good but after through testing I was proven wrong, this SSD does maintain speed of ~430-460MB/s during file copy/move. In CrystalDiskmark the speeds are on par with expectation. Only drawback I found is that CrystalDiskInfo doesn't show couple of parameters and displayed as "Vendor Specific". I am using it mostly for game storage, will update the review after 2-3 months of usage or if the drive shows any issues.But for now this is an excellent deal !!!

Very useful, speed is at par with expectation, (it goes beyond 400 mbps on usb port) the drive is flawless no scope for any complaints, i took 4Tb nd am very happy with the ssd, The SSD is Marvelous...! Go for it Blindly..!Best Regards to all Team at Amazon...!

Don't buy transcend ssd which i bought 1 year ago and now it is not working and when contacted the service center they said your warranty is over… however i bought in late 2019 and now till 3 years haven't been completed. Although they are giving 3 years warranty

Easy to install, light weight, value for money then it was faster then hard disk aand it was faster at the first week then later on it was little bit solwer than it was mensioned but it was a wonderful product which is full to my projects to run faster

I bought this to replace and aging hard drive in an older desktop computer, These drives are fast, much faster than a spinning disk. Installation took only a few minutes and this drive fit perfectly. No special drivers were needed to get Windows installation media to see the drive. We've been using this same drive in older laptops at work, and in every instance the drive installed smoothly and easily and, so far, as worked flawlessly. If you're looking to speed up an aging computer with an older hard drive, this is a very good option. And if you're building a new machine, this is a good contender for your new rig.

Was bought year and a half ago, initially it was used with usb-sata cable for occasional big files storage and was fitting the purpose well but as of now it is installed in my computer and has some more load on it periodically, and i have observed that it heats up quite fast and the transfer rate gets down to as low as ~100Mbps when the temperature is 50 Celsium grades. Moreover, after 53 Celsium grades it freezes completely until temperature lowers a bit, which makes overall experience quite bad. It was scary when it froze first time as i thought it is dead... but then i ggogled and found out the information that it stops under temperatures 53 and over

Lo tengo como disco externo y va más que sobrado. Tampoco es que se lo ponga muy difícil con el uso que le doy.

Bon produit facile à installer vitesse d'écriture très appréciable démarrage rapide ! J'ai pu l'installer sur mon Pc portable Acer datant de 10 ans !
