Great cutter the only issue is the handling. If the finger holes were a bit bigger, they'd be perfect. Still a nice pair just have to use my other hand to take them off.

I had been dealing with a cheap set of double cutters far too long, and after mangling a nice cigar I decided I couldn’t keep doing that any longer. I decided to invest in a good pair and one that I knew would satisfy the leverage requirement for a clean and easy cut. To me, as far as bladed designs go, scissors give the most power for a clean edge, but you probably shouldn’t go over about 52 ring gauge with these. Tried it out on a stick as soon as they came and glad I made the purchase. Nice design and finish to the metal and price was too good to pass on. No complaints at all.

This cutter does a great job with most cigars. It has trouble with the bigger ones. I have some 60 gauge cigars that it couldn't handle well. If they do fit, this cutter makes a clean cut so you can enjoy your cigar.

I must be one of the lucky ones, as my pair were very sharp.I have used it on ring gages from 43 to 60 and it works like a champ.In fact I have used it to clean up cuts from my friends at our regular herf.I am going to buy a couple more as gifts for them for our next meeting.

The thin handle cuts into your hand and the entire unit is not robust enough to handle anything but the thinist cigars. Not recommended.
