Kicking off in the 1950s, and quickly becoming a viewer favorite, the Mickey Mouse Club brought fans to the television screen in a whole new way. With a longstanding and notable past, the Mickey Mouse Club gave us many firsts, including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse ears. Details such as this can be seen on the perfectly designed dial of this Disney x Citizen Disney100 Mickey Mouse Club watch featuring a vintage television with original logo, date window filling the channel space on the television and official Mickey Mouse ears above. A Disney100 logo engraved case back along with collectible matching pin can be found inside a special edition Disney100 Celebration box. Water resistant to 100 meters and powered by our proprietary Eco-Drive technology, the watch never needs a battery.

Beautiful and classy!
Beautiful and classy!I just got back from a week-long trip to Disney World and next time I will definitely be wearing this watch in place of my smartwatch. The watch is as attractive as it is timeless and classic. The gold used on it is understated and perfectly balanced. The leather strap has a hint of red in it and the grayish color matches most outfits. The watch is easy to read and includes the day's date display as well. It's Eco-Drive so that means it's self-charging with sunlight. My family and I also have a Disney pin collection and we placed the included pin into our display and it looks just as good as the watch. The watch comes in a nice 100-year Disney box and would make a perfect gift for any Disney fan in your life.Citizen is a trusted brand for a reason and this watch does not disappoint.

Very unique design; high quality watch
This is definitely giftable with the box it comes in and the pin positioned off to the side. The strap is genuine leather and double stitched; color matched to the watch face. I think the stainless steel body, along with the gold accents around the face and on the crown look really nice together. The Eco-Drive feature is great with no need for battery replacements; it charges any time the watch face is exposed to any kind of light source. Also, the watch hands are glow-in-the-dark. I would say this is an excellent gift for any Mickey Mouse / Disney fan or collector.

A Collectors Item
I'm a baby boomer. I grew up in the 50s and 60s. I started watching the original Mickey Mouse club on a black & white TV... as each new episode came out. (50s was called club, 60s was called show, and came on right after American Bandstand.) Amazing how time has passed. Amazing what became of those kids too.As far as a watch is concerned, it's a Citizen. It's quality, and hasn't missed a second since I got it. It will last a life time, and then some. Simply, there's few brands that can compete with a Citizen.Yet, there are two things I'm not 100% satisfied with.1) Beautiful leather band, but for my wrist, I have it in the last hole. (And for a man, my wrists are not thin, but also not thick.) Some larger men will need to replace those bands... as soon as they get the watch. And, that's not good, that's not Citizen quality.2) The Disney design is not retro Mickey Mouse Club enough for my tastes. This is a collector's watch, for a very specific group, fans of the 50s & 60s Mickey Mouse Club/Show. Those willing to pay $375.00 (7/18/2023) are going to want to see authenticity, not modern. It's about their life, growing up, their memories. Conclusion:I use to work at a job that was extremely time sensitive. During work hours, I looked at my watch about every minute. And as such, I wore expensive watches, that were extremely accurate. So, this is not my first Citizen. But then, looking at a watch got so habitual, that when I changed job positions, I stopped wearing a watch completely. So, this will be the first time, since the 70s and early 80s, that I've owned a watch at all. Therefore, this watch has more emotional meaning to me that actual function. It's memories of those times. So sorry, any Citizen watch is fantastic to have, and for the watch itself, I'd give it a 7 out of 5 star review. But even though I knew exactly how this watch looked before ordering it, it was still emotionally disappointing... a let down. Disney can do better than that. Citizen should have required more from them.
