Keeping it real reviews.
First off, if you're honest with your expectations this is an excellent buy. It's a shed that shows up in your driveway in two boxes that weigh about the same as a casket. It costs around $400 for an 8x10 shed, so yeah it is thin sheet metal (somewhere between 32 and 30 gauge I'd say)First thing you need to is inspect the boxes. If they look like they have been thrown off a bridge, return them. If there are a few small scrapes, dings, you're probably fine. The last thing you want to do is get all the parts (there are many, many parts) unboxed in your yard and then have to repackage all of it because something is damaged.Secondly, inventory every single item. Lay it all out and make sure you physically see each part on the list.Plan for assembly to take a full day or two healthy half days if you do this by yourself. On that note, if this is the first thing you have built, you will have a tough time with this. Ask a friend who has experience doing manly things to help. No one part of this is super difficult, but it is alot of assembly, and the instructions are vague in a few areas. Study the pictures carefully. The diagram on the doors is by far the worst. In fact they are flat out misleading. Now to the plastic. Every panel is securely covered in this surane wrapish plastic. Remove it if you wish, but add an extra half day to your build. After peeling two panels, I decided to see what mother nature can do and started building.I'm convinced that alot of these bad reviews are due to people not knowing how to put something together properly. The one lady that left a video about the doors not staying closed. The kit comes with two latches for the top and bottom of the left door to keep what she posted from happening. It is clear that whoever put her shed together did not install the two latches. The doors on my kit lined up near perfect, and are secure. You just have to use a little care and common sense putting this thing together and I can't imagine any normal person not having their expectations exceeded. After fully assembled, it is quite a bit more robust than I expected for the price. Very satisfied with it.Last thing, the only additional tools you'll want is a decent handheld ratcheting screw driver. You can try a power drill(driver) if you want, but I found it more trouble than it was worth. These screws are all fairly short. Also, there is a fine line between a screw that is too loose, and one that strips the hole.A 6ft ladder will be handy for installing the roof panels.

LUMPS ON MY HEAD !
The shed is not too difficult to assemble except for the strip down the center of the roof, this part can’t be reached from the sides to install the screws, you will need at least one other person to assemble the shed, now here is the real problem, the height of the shed is way too short, I’m 5’8” and I keep hitting my head on the top door frame going in and out of the shed, also there are two roof support beams in side that are even lower than the top door frame, If you install the floor, (I didn’t) the problem would be even worse. Another 6” to 8" in height would have solved this problem. Had I been aware of this, I wouldn’t have bought this shed. It was too late when I discovered this problem.

Great buy!
This is a great buy if your looking for an inexpensive shed. Did it have some scratches and dents sure but you get what you pay for and this was perfect! Using it as an outdoor garden shed with basic holiday totes and garden stuff. The shed isn't strong enough to put a real lock so don't put grandma's jewels in there, however it's perfect as a basic backyard shed. I put it together alone although not impossible def would be easier and faster with a buddy. I wouldn't have done the roof the way they suggested but rather start on one end and do the ridge as you go. Therefore your not trying to screw the ridge while hanging off the side of the roof. The doors were little confusing so def pay attention to those! Very glad they gave extra screws bc I def lost a bunch along the way! Do yourself a favor and before you start, take all the plastic off. I did this the night before and legit took about 2-3 hours! Huge time saver before you actually start. Finally, if your not someone who puts stuff together this DIT is not for the faint of hearts. Lots of patience and reading is needed! Overall once I was done, I was impressed at how strong it felt! Great quality for the value!! I have some pics and left the doors off bc it rained so I was letting air out, I also built it up due to the water where I live. Once everything dries, I plan to lay another layer of OSB over the frame on the floor for more support.

Thin tin not sturdy
Sadly we never built this. My husbands parents thought it comes with way too many parts and will not be sturdy once up. The tin is thin and nothing is really holding it up. We have bad weather constantly here in Alabama and I garantee it would’ve been blown over. I still have all the parts just sitting in a different shed. Will probably use the tin to cover our dog kennels when it rains.

...
When putting this together, I went by all the steps. I wish I'd had forgot the step where you put all the sideson then you put the bolts and bits on the panel. It serious be easier if you put up 1 panel then attach the nuts and bolts. I had to get creative cause I was doing by myself. I used a magnet on the inside to hold the nut in place then I went on the outside and screwed the bolt in. It was tedious but it worked. Also everyone said to take the plastic off the panels. I tried doing it but was so hard to get off. I just left it on. I may see if on a hot day it will come off but right now you can hardly notice it's on there.

Junk
This shed has beyond poor instructions. In fact no words just poor pictures. It was a nightmare. Some of the 6 of the panel's were bent. The cross members were not drilled correctly. I spent most of the time redoing my previous work. The screws are junk went to hardware store and bought some better ones. I have been a carpenter for many years but I would never do this again I just wanted something basic I should have just built one from scratch.Reason I didn’t return it was I didn’t know what was missing or damaged until half way point.
