Extremely bright!
Very good headtorch, extremely bright and well built. I was using it in a completely pitch black indoor setting, and when I had it pointing upwards towards the ceiling I had comments saying that it was like turning an actual light on to the room! Easy to use, with multiple light settings. Comes semi charged, had to top up so it was fully charged before going out so can't comment on a full charge rate. Extremely happy with my purchase, competes with higher priced headtorches for sure. Would recommend.

4.5 out of 5. A great headlamp that can pack a punch on a nighttime run
The media could not be loaded. This was purchased to find whether I would enjoy nighttime trail running, so perhaps 4.5 out of 5 is a little unfair as the Lepro headtorch is not specifically aimed at running in the dark. The headlamp worked straight out of the box, one button to select desired mode and you are ready to run. There is a lot of power on the main spot light (ultra bright and high mode) and the floodlight High mode was the one I principally used for the nighttime trail run (6km through woods with some technical sections). There was sufficient illumination to pick out the hazards on the trail, but definitely had to use the floodlight mode, which scatters sufficient light at your feet with the main light pushed further up and out over the trail ahead. It was comfortable to wear, though it was on top of a skull cap. Didn't notice it moving about going through different gradients and didn't have a headache at the end, but it was only 6km. Easy to adjust straps. The weight is advertised at 190g, but my scales showed 145g including strap. The aesthetics look great. Simple operation, easy to adjust the rotation of the headlamp on the run; no faffing needed. Have no idea about its water resistance, but looks like it will stand up to some rain quite well with IP65 rating. This headlamp lacked in 2 areas and the main reason for knocking the rating to 4.5 would be that you cannot have the spotlight and floodlight operating at the same time. Even with a reduced battery time, this would have been ideal. The other area was the strength of the floodlight was a little low (I guess 400 lumens is the minimum), which did not count against this product's rating.Given that for under £20 I could test nighttime trail running, this headlamp is great, especially considering that I now know which headlamp I should go for if doing longer nighttime trail runs.I can see that this Lepro headlamp would be useful for camping, walking, hiking. It probably is good for running on the streets in poorly lit areas, which I will try over the coming months. If venturing in more rural areas, it can be used for trail running, though would have to be very careful which mode you are using and how long you are on the trail for.

Outstanding quality
Outstanding quality for price ! Substantially tough and hold a good charge! Nice and bright with several functions! Solid aluminium so pretty tough!

Bright, long life, not heavy. Unsure of water resistance, if no update its water proof.
I own 4 Chinese super LED torches and they all cycle through 5 different modes before turning off, blinding you and others or giving poor unsuspecting walkers an epileptic fit with all the flashing. The spread and bridghtness is fantastic and what i like the most is that when you select a mode you want (either bright spot, low spot, wide spread, red, flashing red) .. after 10 seconds, if you press the mode/power button again, it turns OFF!!!!It comes with the top strap to stop the torch dropping for running but as a walker i took the middle strap out and despite this torch taking a single LARGE 18500 battery (the main reason i purchased this model) the weight is not noticeable at all. I own others with 2 batteries at the rear of the head and theyre just too heavy and cumbersome in your bag - theyre amazing on battery life.. but id rather take a spare in my bag and have a comfortable torch.I purchased one on black friday sale for 15 quid....As soon as i tested it i instantly picked up my phone and ordered a spare.Would pay 60 quid all day if this was a Petzl torch, so for 20 quid no sale unbranded its worth every penny.I have another large standing LE light with a glass front panel (unusual) with a magnet on the back with 10,000mah batteries and i have regretted not purchasing a second ever since realising how awesome it was, didnt make that mistake this time as i am confident in its quality as the other one has been dropped, stood on and reglued together 6 times with epoxy.. i hope the same strengths apply to their other products.Whats also good about the way the bracket is designed to be removable is if the brackets snap (which is where most cheap torches fail first in my experience), you can easily fashion your own semi perminant bracket with tape or elastic band or similar.

Generally good.
I paid around £15 for this torch on Amazon and I'd probably give it 3.5 stars. For this price it is excellent. It goes very bright and has an emitter for both spot and floodlight functions. The battery life seems okay too but haven't fully tested itThe reason it's not 5 starts is due to the fact the brightness does not stay constant. This really, really winds me up. The high power beam is supposedly 600l which I don't have reason to doubt. However after about 5 minutes or so the torch dims down to a brightness of the lower mode, around 300/400l I would say. It's still perfectly usable but I have absolutely no idea why anyone would want this. I just want a continuous, steady beam for dog walking without it dimming. It can't be that difficult to build a well regulated torch that doesn't dim down. If it's advertised at 600l I want the full 600 throughout whatever battery life it offers. It seems 90% of torches on the market are similar so can't knock this particular one too much. For the price it isn't a bad buy at all.

Excellent
This is a very good head torch with a powerful main beam, but I mostly use the second setting which more diffuse, for decorating and electrical work. Have to click thro to the setting you want, but one click switches off. Good level of adjustment on the head band. Solid and feels well made. Very good value for the price. I would recommend.
