I bought these to use on my glass art. Specifically, I am making a birdbath from pink depression glass and these are the exact color that I needed. They are a little bit on the mauve side. Definitely not what you think of when you think "pink", but again, perfect for my project, and the color in the listing photo is accurate. The listing does say "mini", so pay attention to that. If you're filling a vase, these will cost you more in the end because of their size. I would not buy the ones at Dollar Tree. The color is sprayed on and some pieces are half sprayed or unevenly sprayed. They may be good enough to fill a vase, but definitely not good quality for other projects, especially if they'll be used outdoors. These are glass with the color in the glass itself. I don't remember the listing saying they come in a plastic case. For me, that was a surprise bonus that I can definitely use. For others, you may be paying a little extra for something you won't use, especially if you're just pouring all of them into a vase. I also received more pieces than the quantity of gems listed. Very happy with my purchase.

I wanted small glass gems for a few games I have and these were the closest I could find that weren't the jumbo gems that you can find in any store. Although they are still bigger than I was thinking, they will do fine in what I had in mind for them. I counted 56 gems in the packaging I received. They were a bit dirty but I'm guessing it's from their molds as a quick rinse should do the trick. They are also colored as pictured and very few have scratches in the bottom of them.All in all, they are a bit pricey for my liking but they are what you see and I like them enough to use in my projects.
