I have to say, after reading a lot of the reviews, I almost returned this without even opening the box once it arrived, but I'm glad I did. It was very well packed, and took some doing to get it opened, but once I put it on the table, I see the value of having this on my new glass dining room table. My old one was so scratched up you almost could not see thru it. This will protect my new set, so I'm very happy. As soon as I put it on my table, I went right back to Amazon and canceled my return request. My apologies to the vendor.The PVC was not wrinkled or wavy, had no finger prints or dirt on it as I read in some of the reviews. Yes, it's not easy to align it on the table, but it does lay flat. It seems to be about 1/2" larger than the table top, which was something else I was worried about after reading the reviews about it shrinking.. I thought it was going to be cut exactly 42 X 42 and once it shrank, it wouldn't cover the entire table. Hopefully, if it DOES shrink, it should fit the table exactly. It does change the look of the glass top because it's plastic and does have some bubbles, but I'll put up with that to protect the glass. Not sure, but maybe they'll go away as the pvc settles in after a while.Glad I kept this and would recommend it for your GLASS table top. I don't know whether it would damage wood or not, but it does kind of stick to the glass, so I guess I would advise caution if you're getting it to protect wood.

Bought this to cover my dining room table so we could enjoy the beauty of the wood we loved without my kids making a mess of the table. It keeps food from falling down in the cracks between the boards on our table and is easy to clean. We loved it so much we purchased another size for using our table with or without the leaf. It is easy to switch. We just wipe it down roll it up and switch to the other after adding the leaf.

Ive had this covering my coffee table for a few months now. It's really thick and durable but you cant really tell that there is plastic covering the table. Absolutely love this stuff.

Just received, placed, and steamed the frosted cover onto our family’s antique kitchen table. It came well packaged, clean, and without flaws. I was easily able to place this alone and I’m so happy with the quality and look so far. Shinier than I’m use to but not bad. The frosted shows off the table without highlighting every flaw that’s been put into it over the last few decades. Looks like when it shrinks a bit it’ll fit perfectly. Put it to the test with my four kids and no slipping or issues. I’ll update after the time period for shrinking but I’m very hopeful this will keep our beloved table around for a few more generations while still being heavily used.

Easy to clean, not really hot resistant, the hot soup bowl will make a dent to it , so I have to use place mat, has a strong smell , using it for several days now still smells ! Put on top of the table cloth , thick enough , but I I expect more for $60 !Update: Seller responded to me immediately and explained the smell is no harmful and how to remove the dent! So I’m quite satisfied with it now

Perfect! Thick enough to stay in place even while wiping clean. I'm going to let it settle for a few days and then round the corners to match my table. It was more than I wanted to pay but well worth it!

Update: I was able to resolve the issue with the seller. I am placing a table pad under the vinyl cover to solve the spotting issue. The vinyl product works well now. The seller gets 5 stars because their response was excellent. Of all the thousands of products I purchase on Amazon, this is one of less than ten sellers I have encountered who have responded quickly, and with excellent service.Old Review: Good product, for some surfaces. I have a white table and the plastic sticks to the table and makes it look like it has a gray marble effect. It’s a minor annoyance. If it’s lifted off the marks disappear, but come back again. I tried cleaning it, but it’s the nature of the plastic. The plastic is good quality and does lag mostly flat. And the sizing is correct.

I'm super happy with my table protector so far. It fits our table perfectly and we can finally see the beauty of the wood and protect it at the same time. One day in, so far so good.

Table protector came with a ton of wrinkles due to how it was shipped. I spoke with the company and their customer service was good. They explained many ways to resolve my issue. Item is nice and thick & will protect my table.

I like the thickness of the pad. The only thing I should of had done was to ordered the frosted pad which is recommended for wood tops to avoid air pockets. But it still does a great job at protecting the wood.

I like that it appears to be good quality. I did not like that it was longer and wider than what I ordered and I had to trim it

Really happy with the product, the mat is perfect for my antique dining room table. It doesn't smell, it covers the table perfectly, no bubbles and it's great for everyday use when the kids do their homework. (I roll it away when I entertain and eat on the table) my only gripe is that tape and stickers bond to the surface and leave their glue/residue behind. Found out the hard way with kids doing arts and crafts.
