Good solid T&H monitor, works well with Home Assistant
Solid reliable temperature and humidity sensors. I have a number of these now in different rooms around the house, the display is easy to read, the batteries last ages, and they integrate extremely well to Home Assistant via Bluetooth (BLE) so I can monitor temperatures. The app is OK although I very rarely use it

Great product
I bought this about 6 months ago and it still works great! I haven’t even had to replace the batteries yet. It’s very easy to use and it fits perfectly on my desk! It connects well to your phone and even though I’ve dropped it a couple times it hasn’t broken anything! It’s cheap and affordable and I recommend this for anyone who’s looking for a good temperature reader.

Clear, accurate, simple design. App updates record a bit slow though.
Simple and effective, and appears to be accurate. Bought it on a deal. No backlight and only issue was that the app updated a bit slow.

Awesome peice of kit at a great price for the included features
Accurate readings , temp , humidity , vpd and dew point are all tracked using the app , keeps data for 1 year , the options are there to delete at any time. My only regret is not buying the WiFi version, Bluetooth works great but I would prefer the ability to check on it remotely.

Great and seemingly accurate, with decent app for phone
In total we have five of these devices placed around the house. The latest two being recently bought as a "two pack". The yare so simple to connect to a mobile device, needed if monitoring, recording, graphing and any offset needs to be applied. The mobile app can also update the firmware, if applicable, and has done so on more than one occasion with ours. The display for each unit is large and easy enough to read no backlight tho. There is a single button on the top, to switch between imperial and metric. Whilst you can read the RH and temp, along with mins and max of each, you will need to use the app for your phone connected to the device to read information like the dew point and to see graphically trends etc. If you buy more than one device at a time I strongly suggest just trying to set one up at a time. Especially when connecting and pairing it with the app on your phone. They do NOT have a MAC code for each device, so I set one up at a time, leaving the batteries out of the others, and when that one is connected we then place a label with its location on the back. If you try and connect all of them at the same time, and the yare grouped together, it is difficult to know which units display within the app relates to which unit. See my photos of what is contained in the "two pack" box and also how we have ours setup, and labelled. Looking at the graphical information we can see "averages" or set to show "highest" or "lowest" temperatures. The one noted as being in the rear garden is under a canopy and away from prevailing winds. The Bluetooth range is typical of what you would expect. We live in a larger house, so no one place can reach them all. That is not a big deal, it just means I will access and update the information in the app as I feel is appropriate. Remember these are not Wi-Fi, they are BT in their connection. So manual updating is necessary for the app to be updated. We can update ours from the rear garden, or the attached garage on the side of the house, through the adjoining wall, the one on the rear garden, from a window in the room adjacent to the garden. I have had several of ours and used them continually for a few years. The batteries last a long time, with an indicator within the app showing how much drain the batteries have. I did set an offset for the one in the kitchen, about -1.5c. That was so it would agree with the rather inaccurate Hive unit, that controls our central heating. Along with the one in garage, where our boiler is, we can ensure that the frost guard settings are working as needed. To protect the boiler and the sytem. The app on the phone is good, if a little bloated. Everything gets installed, meaning if you only have these Govee devices then you have to accept that it can be used to control so much more .Not a problem, just mentioning that. There is nothing that I can consider negative about these devices. Understanding the limitations of BT and its range etc, then all is good. Overall, I very much recommend them. I do hope that this review has been helpful. Happy shopping.

Brilliant!
Wow! Works great, looks quality. Loads of information on screen and transferred to the app you can download. I got it because it has alarm settings for air humidity, (and temperature if you want). It’s in my camper van on the drive and the Bluetooth will trigger the alarm if I get a leak as the humidity will go up. It took a few minutes to get the Bluetooth to connect, but all good now. No idea how they do thi for the money.

Neat little devices with a decent app, let down slightly by the bluetooth connectivity
As devices to log temperature these are great. They seem accurate when cross checking against other thermometers. The app does a good job of displaying the data. I also like the fact that they seem to store at least a week's worth of data if you're away or forget to download. My only grumble is minor - one of them is perpetually reluctant to connect via bluetooth. It always takes multiple refreshes to latch on and some days just refuses.

Impressive IoT device even without their app
I bought a pair of these after reading a blog where the bluetooth LE features were examined. One of the most impressive features is that they don't need to be paired with a phone or tablet - out of the box, they actually broadcast their readings every 2 seconds. So if you set a bluetooth device to receive broadcasts, you can just plug and play - no downloading privacy-infringing apps to your smartphone, no making accounts with the manufacturer for no reason. I adapted the code to do exactly that - receive the readings and store them in my own database (MariaDB), then I can use my existing Grafana setup to display the readings. No security concerns because they're bluetooth, not wifi. I have a Raspberry Pi receiving the broadcasts, processing the readings and then logging them. I have 6 of these around my house now. They respond extremely quickly - the changes in temperature and humidity are visible when I walk into each room. Their accuracy is remarkable for such cheap devices. The data helps me figure out how effective my heating is and where I can reduce it. The batteries also seem to be long-lasting. The LCD is big, easy to read and also updates as quickly as the broadcast readings. Any downsides? It would be nice if the bluetooth MAC address was printed on the devices. I had to figure out each device in turn, but that was a one-time labelling. Now I have labels on each sensor, I can tell room by room what's going on in my house. For the money they are ridiculously good. And bluetooth range is great in a 1-bed house. In fact, 6 devices broadcasting is enough to degrade my 2.4GHz wifi! I don't know if the range claims are accurate but they're perfect for my use case. Very pleased.
