GREAT COOKWARE!
HOMI CHEF 1.75 QT(Quart) Sauce Pan/ Sauce Pot with Lid (No Toxic Non Stick Coating, 7 Inch Straight Sided) Matte Polished NICKEL FREE Stainless Steel - Cookware Pots And Pans SetsWe LOVE this Sauce Pot. NEVER buying non-stick cookware again. In my experience, they are big time money makers for the manufacturers and sellers. For the customers, they are "throw away" pots and pans. They wear out, too, and one doesn't need to guess as to where the worn off materials ended up! There's nothing like Stainless Steel. I am purchasing one piece at a time so that i have the pots and pans that I truly need and use. Usually, I like a glass lid; however, don't mind this lid at all. Reminds me of when my mom was in the kitchen cooking with her stainless steel pots and pans with the lids on and she'd lift the lids to see how everything was cooking.. My preference is the matte finish and hope that as I choose the pots and pans I need they will all be in the matte finish. I guess mixing the finishes is okay. That is NOT a complaint. I highly recommend these pots and pans and I also highly recommend stop buying non-stick pots and pans that are expensive and end up being "throw away" pots and pans. They are a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. This is my first Purchase of Homi Chef and I intend to buy another every month or so to build my personal set. Please do NOT hesitate to purchase because you may think the price is too much. The prices for NON-STICK are too much. The stainless steel will be there for future generations to inherit and remember their beloved moms and dads as they cooked with them over the stove! Stainless Steel pots and pans retain their beauty, too. You cannot do that with non-stick pots and pans. Yes, I do NOT like non-stick pots and pans and consider them bad for our health. You are welcome to your own opinion, though. If that's what you like perhaps you'll change your mind when you start needing to replace them. I won't need to replace my Homi Chef Sauce Pot. Even if I burn something in it (which I haven't yet), it'll clean up like new ... all my stainless steel pots and pans have and do. I don't burn food often; however, sometimes, it happens.

THIS POT=LOVE
Okay, I needed nickel free pots for my daughter that has a nickel allergy. We were using some glass pots but found one of them was pitted on the inside and we became concerned about having glass in our food so we bought these. I wanted a set but the set I wanted wasn't available so I decided to put my own set together. This has become my favorite pot, lol. This pot just feels sturdy without being really heavy. At first, I thought that i wouldn't like that the lid isn't clear but I don't miss seeing inside it at all because I usually just throw something in it that isn't going to boil down anyway. I hope that makes sense. I am just in Love with the look and feel of this pot and I wish I could have bought a whole set of these. This has become my whole family’s go-to pot to cook with. It is compact enough for small amounts yet holds a lot for more moderate amounts of food. I’m going to purchase a second one soon!

Love This Saucepan
This replaces my Bialetti saucepan and I'm in love with this one. I wish they had other sizes of this, but I could not find them so I bought other brands. But this is the saucepan I use the most frequently to make my food prep for my oatmeal concoction. Sometimes I overcook my oatmeal and it burns into the saucepan. I have no worries, though, because its stainless steel, I use my stainless steel pad to scrub away (after some soaking. This saucepan is solid. I love the handle, the shape of the saucepan, everything about it. It heats well. It's easy to clean and because it doesn't have a nonstick coating, I don't have to worry about scratching this like I did with my Bialetti. I'm leaning now more towards stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron as I don't have to worry about scratching and replacing cookware that I've scratched the coating. The saucepan is a bit heavier than my Bialetti, especially all filled with oatmeal stuff, but that's okay. I can't find anything I dislike about this saucepan. The price was what I would expect - not inexpensive, but not too pricey either at around $38-40.

well built
I'm used to my pans that were made over 40 years ago. I've used this pan for a few weeks. I'm very satisfied, it is light, easy to clean and have hadno problems with sauce or food sticking to the pan. Cleans quickly, Recommend. With I had more tome to use it before writing this. The price is right compared to the $175. pans I used to use.

Great product, great transaction - have since picked up another Homichef product!
We had an all clad 1.5 quart sauce pot for quite some time. My Wife said it was her favorite pot and she used it almost daily. The handle was welded on and it simply popped off one day making the pot useless. I found the Homichef equivalent and took a chance on a lower cost item. I'm thrilled. I read reviews that compared Homichef to all clad and other high end pots and while there are some differences in material that were touted as giving all clad a 10% shorter time to heat up and noted that the handle on Homichef is riveted and not welded, I don't care. It only takes a few minutes to boil water in a 1.5 qt pot, so what would I save, a few seconds. The welded handle I had previously fell off, so I don't want a riveted handle. The Homichef pot has been great. It has a nice thick base to distribute heat, it heats up plenty fast for me, and it has a high quality look and feel. Save some money and get the Homichef!
