I found it true to size, but I should have gone up a size to accommodation warmer clothing, but it does keep you well and truly dry, I said in my original review it was very warm, its not in the winter.

would the 3xl size fit a 6ft 2 male with a 50 inch waist?

I would think so. I bought this before I lost weight I was a ladies size 14. I am about 5'4 tall. It was big on me then. Hope this helps

Washed it in the machine at 30 decC and it came out good as new
