Bulletproof Coconut Chocolate Protein Crisp Bars, 12pk, High Protein, Low Sugar

With every new product line they come out with there’s more and more exceptions to the ingredients that Dave has raved about being terrible for you. The brand always states, oh but OURS are ok because….. I’m disappointed. Almonds…. I can’t eat almonds and am pretty surprised to see them as a main ingredient. In the other protein bars Dave said he chose cashews because many more people can tolerate it. Considering how much he has bashed almonds, regardless if these ones are EU standard, I didn’t expect to open the box and see an almond bar with “natural coconut flavoring.” And pea protein as the first ingredient after his bashing of that is wild. The reason they give on an instagram post as to why they’re allowing it as the number one ingredient is laughable. “The protein part of the pea has minimal lechtins.” If that is the case then why does Dave trash pea protein constantly? Which is it? I used to trust this brand because I had a faith in Dave Asprey to not cut corners or be contradicting. For years I was willing to let the fact that they don’t supply organic products (which he promotes ad nauseam) slide. But now with the constant introduction of trash ingredients that he has constantly bashed becoming more and more laden in his products it is clear that Bulletproof has turned into a profit center that, unfortunately, most initial do-gooders who find success turn into. I’m just disappointed that I can no longer turn to a product that I always had confidence in and not think twice about putting it in my body.

I was a bit skeptical of buying this due to a lot of negative reviews around the taste. However, I found this to be quite flavorful. It has a strong Coconut taste. So if you dont like coconut, this is not for you. I felt quite full on eating it and I would buy again. Price is too high for sure.

These would be tops if the chocolate chips would not melt. Becomes messy to hold but a great flavor they are. Not a great travel bar unless you have wipes with you

These were super tasty and I really enjoyed all the flavors. However, it left me still a bit hungry due to the smaller size for +/- 180-200 calories if I recall correctly.
