This removable shower drain cover works perfectly for my bath tub, catching hair and other debris while allowing water to easily go through to the drain. It is well madeI and I like that it comes in a variety of colors. I chose the matte gold finish to match my existing tub fixtures. Looks great and works very well. This drain hair catcher works much nicer than original in bathtub. Holes are smaller and it's bigger around. I just drilled hole a little bigger in center and screwed down like original one. Works great.

So, I have one of those drains in my shower with big drainage holes. Hair and other debris easily goes down the drain, inevitably leading to clogs. When I bought this, honestly I didn't have high hopes. When I took the product out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised as to how sturdy the product felt. I was expecting something far more flimsy, but the drain catcher felt solid and substantial (well, for a drain catcher, anyway). When I placed the drain catcher, it sat flush against the shower floor (again, unexpected on my part). After several days of use, hair/debris was accumulating on top of the catcher (like it was supposed to) so I wiped it off with a paper towl, gave it a quick rinse, and it was good to go.Did it catch 100% of the debris? I know it didn't as I also have one of those mesh stickers covering the drain and it was catching stuff missed by this product. However, my experience was that this product works and works fairly well so that my overall drain cleaning regimen has been reduced noticeably. If you're looking for an easy way to cut down on shower drain cleaning, then I enthusiastically recommend this solution.

Works well with ONE tub drain, keeps hair from going down the drain. Does not work in our second tub, slides off the drain.

So I bought one of these for my kids bathroom because my daughter's hair is everywhere and always clogging the tub drain. I've been using this for a few months now, it does catch some hair, but the drain was again clogged this morning as it always was..... so this drain cover moves around EXTREMELY easily allowing hair to still go down and get stuck in the drain. There is no way for it to stay in place over the drain while someone is taking a shower. So I'm back to the drawing board and hoping I can find something that actually works. Please note my review for this product is applying it to a regular porcelain bathtub.
