This is a lovely looking mixing bowl of a brilliant size, ideal when you need to mix a large quantity. They are great value against some of the more well-known brands, i bought 3 different sizes for less than the average price of a large Mason Cash bowl.My only tip would be to thoroughly check the bowls for damage by running your fingernail around it. The 2 litre bowl arrived with a hairline crack which wasn't noticeable until i gave them all a quick wash - a dark line appeared where the moisture absorbed into it. The bowls were so well packaged it could have only been damaged before dispatch so a bit disappointing.I highly recommend these bowls, they are of good weight and i love the idea of the flat side. They do look better than in the picture and would be fantastic out on display if you have the room!

Unfortunately ordered 2 of these and both times it’s arrived broken. Won’t order any more

Delivery wasn't tracked, still says that it should arrive.It's bigger than I realised but I still like it.

As other reviewers have said, this takes me back to my childhood! It's a little smaller than what I'd consider a standard size mixing bowl but still perfectly big enough for most home baking attempts and easier to fit in the dishwasher. The weight is perfect - heavy enough to stay in place without much effort but not so heavy that you can't pour from it easily.I like the idea of the flattened side to rest the bowl at an angle but I haven't used it as it tips it over too much. You'd have to be whisking something very small to avoid spilling. Other than that, perfect!

This is simply an excellent mixing bowl. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and we've used it consistently over the last year. The bowl looks great and is a nice size for most substantial mixing jobs - it's got good mass for whipping cream etc and remains nice and cool while you are working.I think this is very good value - I would have happily paid more.The bowl is tough - we don't have that much space so it lives in a cupboard with sauce pans and so on and I expected that it would have chipped a bit by now. Not a bit - looks as good as new.Recommended purchase.
