I will want to upgrade the amount of ram. how many gb of ram will this machine actually support? (more than 16 gb?)

It can be upgraded to up to 40GB of RAM, by installing a single 32GB DDR4 3200 CL22.

Can this be charge via the usb c port?

Yes it can be charged from the type c port. However Asus do not include a type c charger by default and you will need to buy a type c charger that supports 90w PD (Power Delivery) and a 100w PD type c cable inorder to do so.

How much ram this laptop support?

On Asus official website it said up to 16GB (8+8). But from my own experience you can install a 32GB ram and get up to 40GB (8+32) of total system memory.

What are the specs of the charger? I need a second one.

I purchased a 65W Type C charger off Amazon to have a 2nd charger for travel and it works great. Its also smaller than the factory charger. If you want specifics on the factory Asus charger, check the Asus website.
