What is the best way to clean this brush?

I just use a comb to pull the hair out of it about every other day. If/when it gets dirty, I would just wash in water with a few drops of a mild dishwasher soap, rinse thoroughly and air dry.

So far YES!!! I’ve owned Mason Pearson since the early 1980’s. I thought there was nothing better and continued to buy Mason Pearson. However, when I needed a new brush and I looked at the prices I needed to know what else was out there. It was ridiculous!!! So far I’m very pleased. It massages my scalp while I’m brushing, and feels wonderful. The large is very big compared to Mason Pearson’s brush and a fraction of the price. I’ll know better when I have to clean it and how it holds up.

Should there have been instructions on how to clean/maintain the brush? Mine came in an empty box, no wrapping to protect the brush, no instructions.

Unfortunately, There were no instructions on how to clean the brush. My brush fell apart the first time cleaned. The brush was more expensive than most so I am most disappointed. Had higher expectations for this product. Thanks for raising this question. Other potential buyers need to know.

Is this brush good for thick wavy frizzy hair?

My hair is long, fine, and extremely straight, so this brush is ok for me. I doubt that it would be ideal for your thick wavy frizzy hair, unless it is also extremely short.
