Update added 6/29/25:After using this for a while, I started experiencing severe indigestion (all of the symptoms—death). I’ve stopped and restarted using it several times (after eliminating everything else), so, yes, I’m sure. It’s now in the trash.—————————Original review:This is not a review of quality but instead of the use process, especially for those mixing it into drinks.It reminds me of a puffball mushroom, except it takes very little effort to get the same action. I.e., opening and closing the bag will do it.It also doesn’t mix well if using anything less than piping hot water and a battery operated or electric mixer. The products I’ve tried over the past several years (Ryze, Bunkell, FreshCap, Wixar Nootropics) mix fine with a spoon and lukewarm water (which is nice in the case hot water is unavailable or inconvenient).I transferred the Real Mushrooms powder to a mason jar so I can tolerate using it and had to break out the battery operated mixer, which I wasn’t thrilled about given our small space.For what it’s worth, I like all of those other brands I’ve tried just fine. I’m more so exploring quality compared to cost/quantity and taste. I saw another reviewer mentioned Sacred 7, which I might try next to compare to FreshCup for a caffeine free option (FreshCup blends better than Real Mushrooms and like Sacred 7, it also comes in a container). I’m also considering Monkey Brew and Lucid, though these do contain caffeine and are more expensive. Without trying those three yet, my current preference is Bunkell (caffeinated and similar to Ryze at a lower cost), Wixar Nootropics (low caffeine) or FreshCup (caffeine free).
