Amazing buy
Best decision ever. I have a very small wondow on the third floor that basically gets no airflow. This window fan helps tremendously getting the hot air out and at night bringing the cool air in. It is simple, light, and works really well. It is a bit loud, but nothing is perfect. Best purchase ever.

A good fan for certain uses
I’ve had this Wi-Fi enabled, 3 speed, reversible fan unit installed now for 7 days in the summer, in a room used as a home office. The unit works as advertised. The Comfort Zone app and my iPhone get along nicely. I have the unit installed in a modern double-hung window. I did not use the bug screen. The window width required that the unit’s expandable panels be pulled out. While the panels pull out easily, they are not as wide (vertically) as the fan portion and thus leave narrow gaps above and below the pulled-out panels which, in some locations, would require use of the bug screen to exclude insects (so far, not yet a problem for me in a usually buggy environment). Also, the panel latches are flimsy and do not hold the panels fully out. I used small wood wedges jammed into the panel tracks to hold them out at the distance needed. As for noise level, the unit makes a notable ‘beep’ when changing speeds/modes and always makes a ‘hum’ sound which, surprisingly, does not change with fan speed; it is just there when the unit is on, loud enough to be noticeable but low enough to be ignored in all but a very quiet environment, such as in a bedroom where I don’t believe I could use this unit due to the constant hum (but its fine in my office). Consistent with the product description at Amazon, the 2 small fans move enough air to affect the room in which the unit is installed but not enough to affect other rooms. This true even if the fans are on all night at high speed. To achieve multi-room cooling, you would a fan which moves lot more air. Bottom line, the noise level and air moving ability are about what one should expect from a small unit while the pull-out panels leave gaps and the panel latches not well designed.

WiFi function is a game changer
I bought this for its WiFi function. I already had one from different brand with exact same dimension and almost identical to the model with remote but no WiFi. I put the fan in the window in the our bathroom in master bedroom. In winter, we close the door and all windows in the room in night except for the opening of window to accommodate this fan. It serves a few functions. 1st, clears out the moisture inside from shower; 2nd, get cool air from outside during summer; 3rd, get fresh air from outside to reduce CO2 inside. The fan functions mechanically identical to the one I had without WiFi. It’s a decent fan. However, with WiFi, it can run automatically when the situation calls. It supports the Smart Life app available in both iOS and Android. I had the app already connects to sensors (a CO2/temp/humidity sensor connected to a Bluetooth gateway compatible to Smart Life), I can set the fan to turn on (at desired mode and speed) during night time when the CO2 in the room exceeds limit (I choose 1200ppm), and turns it off when it drops down to lower level. Now it automatically runs to refresh the air during the night and shuts off itself when done. It works really well, and you can do similar setup with temperature or humidity with sensors compatible to the Smart Life app. By the way, although it does not come with remote. You can easily use your phone anywhere in the house or just ask Google or Alexa to turn it on/off. I highly recommend to purchase WiFi model instead of others.

Wifi doesn't work, constant chatter even when fan blades aren't running
This is literally my first ever amazon review after hundreds of purchases, just to tell you to not bother with this product. (3 speed wifi model) Firstly you have to have 2.4 ghz wifi to connect to it specifically. So if you have good wifi you will never be able to connect to it. Something that was never disclosed prior to the purchase and i had to find out while reading the manual from the box to get it to pair. I was perfectly fine just using the physical buttons on the fan to adjust. I didnt even care about connecting it to my phone until I plugged it in and it keep making a chattering noise ( im assuming trying to pair to the wifi that it will never be able to) and it sounds like a squirrel with barking every 5 seconds. I've barely had the thing plugged in for 10 minutes and im ready to smash it to bits if I have to keep listening to that noise. There are no instructions on the box or with the paperwork to enter and exit pairing mode. I chose this model because it was the only one that showed it would stretch horizontally up to 37 inches but the ends to extend hold in place so cheaply i couldnt even get it to stay out fully. My windows are wider than everage so i needed the extra couple inches. Continuing to try and figure it out, and see if anything it promised held true. Put it on exhaust and the wind outside on a mildly windy day was overpowering it and blowing inside, even with fan on high. Thats not even the end of it. I realized that it just shuts off on me every 10-15 minutes. Literally the cheapest product I've ever purchased in my life.

Love it!!
This fan is awesome! It completely froze my bedroom in like 30mins. Very sturdy and comes with legs for freestanding. **Night 2** Although the fan is indeed the cooling room, it’s loud. The fan has this rattling sound almost like a blade is loose noise. I’m definitely returning this one.

Three L’s
Y’all, our AC broke in the scorching hot, humidity ridden, beautiful, but hotter than your imagination, South, in JULY! Do you know how long it takes to got your air fixed in the South in July? Could not purchase this fast enough! To my surprise, we felt instant relief. Worked so well. bought 2 more. Love, Love, Love!!

vent a room quickly draws cool air in if you want or can do both at the same time. This is my second one the other one lasted about four years and still works but needs a good cleening lol

the fan is good for what it is designed to do. Yes a bit of hum but not too bad. We like the WIFI ability to use the fan. Like that you can have to fans running in different directions to circulate the air in the room.

Work great. GF’s said to “how did you hook a fan up to Bluetooth?”, “Amazon “ 3 speeds and can cool, exhaust or circulate.

Does not last. I had it in the window to try and circulate air to lower the humidity in the garage. The thing quit working the third time I ran it. It's getting power as the Wifi button still blinks but now the on button just does nothing. I am not sure if it has a defective control panel or the fan motors are garbage, but this thing is definitely defective. I just wish I had waited until summer was here to buy it so it would have been within the 30 day return window. Very angry I wasted 120 bucks on this fan.

Trust when ppl say it's loud. I thought my neighbors upstairs had their tv bass really loud, nope... When in the window, it's a very loud motor sound. Super annoying. The on and off buttons are already cracked right through and that was within a month of using. I try mainly to use with phone app so the bottons should be fine but nope, cheap. It will serve it's purpose but my manual double fan I bought in 2012, still runs better than this thing and it's 13 yrs old. Really cheaping out on making fans these days. Not worth $$107
