Apple iPhone 14 Plus, 256GB, Blue for Unlocked (Renewed Premium)

I recently purchased the Apple iPhone 14 Plus, 128GB, Blue - Unlocked (Renewed) on Amazon as a gift for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it! This is my honest review after a few weeks of her daily use. First off, the blue color is stunning—it's that vibrant yet sophisticated shade that looks premium without being flashy. The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display is huge and gorgeous; she says the screen is so sharp and bright for watching videos, scrolling social media, or FaceTiming friends. It's perfect for her as someone who spends a lot of time on her phone. Performance-wise, the A15 Bionic chip handles everything smoothly—no lag when switching apps, gaming lightly, or multitasking. The battery life is one of the best parts: she easily gets through a full day (and often more) with heavy use, and the up to 26 hours of video playback claim feels spot-on for her streaming habits. The cameras are fantastic too—the advanced system takes beautiful photos in any light, and she loves the Cinematic mode for fun videos. Coming from an older phone, she was thrilled with how crisp and detailed everything looks. Since it's Renewed (Amazon's refurbished program), I was a bit cautious at first, but it arrived in excellent condition—no visible scratches, dents, or issues with the screen. It was fully functional right out of the box, charged quickly, and set up seamlessly with her Apple ID. Being unlocked, it works perfectly with our carrier, and she appreciates the 128GB storage for all her photos, apps, and music without constantly worrying about space. My daughter (who's picky about her tech) has been raving about it non-stop: "Dad, this feels like a brand-new phone!" She's especially happy with the big screen for reading and the all-day battery that means she doesn't have to hunt for chargers constantly. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars—great value for a renewed unit, especially compared to buying new. If you're looking for a large-screen iPhone with solid performance and modern features on a budget, this renewed iPhone 14 Plus is a winner. Highly recommend!

I'm not into paying new prices for phones, nor do I care about incremental upgrades every year. If you're like me and got about 8 years out of your last phone which was on its absolute last legs and needed replacing, you probably found yourself here trying to find a deal. And, I think I might've. Because of what I outlined above, I opted for a three year old 14 Plus (unlocked) model to replace my beaten and worn XR. The condition I opted for was the middle one. The phone came right to life and the battery health showed 85%, more than acceptable. There were very minor scratches on the side and around the rear camera, again more than acceptable. The scratches on the side were completely covered by a case and the ones around the camera don't affect its function and honestly probably won't even be noticed by others. The screen was mint and so was the rear glass. The phone I was sent must've been from an Asian region as the language that came up by default was one I didn't understand at all, but it wasn't difficult to swipe around a bit and get it changed over to English. Saw a couple others note that as a complaint, but it really shouldn't be one. Took mere seconds to get the language sorted out. Zero complaints with function as of day one. The setup and transfer went seamlessly. Will update in the future if anything goes wrong, but as of now I'm happy with my purchase, a couple blemishes and a couple model years for about a quarter of what a new rig runs you for is a good deal far as I'm concerned.

First off, I never write reviews, but after my recent experiences I thought this might help some others. Needed to replace an aging IPhone which was still working great, but a lot of apps needing newer IOS. So, not looking for the lastest/greatest, just a good update. Decided IPh 14+ was a good option. Here were my first 3 strikes : 1) I purchased an “Excellent” OPEN BOX phone from Best Buy. It came in a box sealed with Geek Squad tape. When opened, the phone had tons of fingerprints all over it, front and back; not a great first impression. After going through the startup process I was greeted with a screen that informed me that the phone had remote management software installed on it. Basically unusable. 2) I returned it and they replaced it with another “Excellent” OPEN BOX. Same thing – both phones had been previously owned by some company (now out of business) who had loaded remote management software on the phones. So… these are expensive, unusable bricks, and shame on BB/Geek Squad for selling these phones to the public. 3) After that experience I decided to give Amazon a try and bought a phone supplied by WOOT, as I have had good experiences with other Woot purchases. The phone arrived in a beat up generic box with the inside packaging worse than the outside. On the positive side, the phone was cosmetically very good with no obvious scratches, etc. So, everything looked good until I checked the battery health. 81%. NOT GOOD. Yes, it meets the described spec of >80% for their “Excellent” condition, but will going to be into the Apple service condition in a couple of weeks. Returned to Amazon/Woot and waiting for refund. After reading a ton of reviews I decided to give it one more shot and get a “Premium” condition directly from Amazon.com. Most of the reviews of these phones were much better than all of the other vendors. They are definitely more expensive but come with a 365 day warranty vs 90 day and spec at >90% battery life. Phone arrived today. It was VERY nicely packaged in a SEALED shrink wrapped professional looking box. Opened the box and found a phone with what appeared to be the original Apple protective film still in place on the front and back. Battery was dead so after a quick charge I was able to check battery health…… 100% and 0 charge cycles. Basically this is a brand NEW, NEVER USED phone. I can’t say how impressed I was after three bad experiences. I saved a couple $hundred compared to BB or Apple and got a brand new phone ….. It’s all about the journey  !!!

I purchased the iPhone 14 Plus (128GB, Purple) through Amazon Renewed and it has been fantastic. The device arrived exactly as described, in excellent condition, and works perfectly. Battery life is great, the camera is sharp, and the phone feels just like new. No issues at all so far. Highly recommend this as a reliable and cost-effective option if you’re looking for an almost-new iPhone!

Was like new when I got it, I checked the repair notes in the phone settings and all that was done was that the glass back was replaced. Works like new and battery is 100%. Good option to save some money given the 1 year warrantee. Will definitely keep buying my phones this way.

it was like brand new. if it was in an apple box, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference from a brand new one. I have been using it for a couple of months now, no issues, and battery health was at 98 when I got it.
