Havaianas Sandals Women Freedom

I adore these sandals. They're super comfy on my wide, very sensitive feet. I'm a wide 7 but bought these in the UK 6.5. Only thing I'll note as a negative which is a reflection on Havaianas as a company rather than their shoes, is that their sizing is so confusing. I have flip flops already so I based the sizing from them. However there are three sizes on the flip flops, the UK, EU, and Brazilian sizing. I initially (accidentally) ordered the Brazilian sizing which was far too large, so I returned them and got the UK 6.5 even though normally, that'd be too small on me. Not a criticism on the sandals however, as they are great quality and so comfortable. Have had my flip flops for over 2 years with daily use during the warmer months and they still look phenomenal, so if these sandals last as long I'll be very happy.

Bought the Freedom gold for holiday but sadly they arrived (the day before holiday) with an underside rip around the button hole of the toe-post. They may have lasted a few wears like that but the toe post would have eventually come undone. So, had my holiday in my silver Havaianas flip flops and was quite happy and comfy. Returned Freedoms upon my return and received my replacement the very next day (great service!) and have worn them to death ever since! I love them, so comfortable and when they start to stretch a little I just pull the strap a little tighter. Remains to be seen if they last a second Summer with daily wear but going by my experience of the last few pairs of Havaianas I've had I expect them to! Sturdy and pretty. Very happy customer.

Being a UK size 6 I ordered the option size 5-6 only I received size 4-5. And I think the next size up must be 6-7. So just be aware that the sizing options given are incorrect. These are undoubtably the most comfortable pair of flip flops I've ever had but because they're on the smaller side the strap keeps coming undone... shame.

Super company for flip flops. I don’t usually get on with flip flops and find them very uncomfortable but the added strap is a genius idea and can walk round for long periods with no issues. Lasted perfectly for my 5 weeks in Thailand wearing almost every day

Firstly I love Havianas, find them comfortable and easy to wear. However even though I ordered exactly the same size and colour as a pair I already have when they arrived they were way too small. I compared the 3 pairs of Havianas I have(supposedly all the same size) and all were noticeably different in size. It was like Goldilocks and the 3 bears. One pair too big, one too small and one just right. I still want another pair but feel reluctant to send for some in case they don't fit either. So very disappointed.

The big problem with Havaianas is that they only do sizes in two size increments, so every second size misses out! This is the case with my size UK 6. The smaller size, the 5 or 4/5 is too small, it fits like a 5, and the 6/7 fits like a 7 and is therefore way too big. The straps of the 5 fitted perfectly but the sole is too short, but the straps of the 7 are so loose that I can’t walk in them, besides just generally being too big. Some of our sizes are simply unfortunate and not accounted for by Havaianas which is such a shame as the flip flops are beautiful and non toxic which are two important factors for me. I hope they improve their sizing finally....One note, if you’re a size 6 like me desperate to find Havaianas that fit, I’ve discovered that the flash/urban range in 6/7 is 1cm smaller than the regular flip flops in this size and therefore fit a size 6 perfectly! I now only wear these. Still I’m astonished how the same brand in the same size can vary by a whole cm.... hard to take a producer like this seriously.

I have a trip to Florida coming up where I will be doing a lot of walking & so I need shoes that are comfortable but I'm not a trainer person at all, I live in flipflops, sandals & pumps. So after recommendations from others & reading the reviews, I decided to go for these - I couldn't justify spending £70odd on FitFlops & Skechers GoWalks are too enclosed for me. I have to say, I was a little panicked about the sizing issues that many seem to have, I'm usually a 5.5 but mainly go for a 6 due to the wideness of my feet, so I ordered a 5 & then wondered if I should have perhaps gone lower. I needn't have worried though, they fit fine & the length is spot on (I have short stubby feet too!). Anyway, they arrived this morning within a week of ordering (very fast considering they were internationally shipped) & so far, so good! They are really comfortable... I just hope they can withstand the wonders of Disney World!

I wanted a pair with a strap round the heel to support an old broken bones in my foot that is aggravated by flip flops. These are lovely. Fit well. Feel comfy and I really like the gold colour. Perfect for summer.
