I bought this because it had a lot of positive reviews on Amazon, and I'm glad I listened!We were going on a Caribbean cruise and wanted to be able to snorkel without renting someone else's snot-caddy. The price was right, so I bought one for me and one for my sweetie. I was worried because I have a thin face and hers is thinner, but the masks fit both of us fine. At first I had a tiny amount of leakage, but then I figured out that if you blow out a little through your nose while you swim, it keeps all the water out. The snorkel works so well. Love the lid that keeps you from breathing in water. A little spit on the inside of each lens, rubbing it around, then rinsing it off keeps the mask fog-free for half hour or more.Back home in WV, I use the mask without the snorkel for swimming in the lake. The silicone cup that covers your nose is perfect for keeping water out of my nostrils. It has totally eliminated the allergic reactions I used to get in my eyes and nose after swimming in freshwater lakes.I would definitely buy it again.One word of advice: I called the manufacturer to try to find out about sizing info before I bought it, and they couldn't really help, but they told me to rub toothpaste all over it and let it dry overnight, then rinse it off in the morning, to remove some kind of factory coating. Don't know what that's all about but I did it.

This is an excellent mask, light years ahead of the goggles i had as a kid. My hat hat size is around 7 3/4-7 7/8 and it fits comfortably. it's a little tight across the bridge of my nose, but not too bad. You will probably need some defogger spray to coat the lenses. A small amount of water leaked in around my temples, only enough to pool a little at the bottom of the lens, not enough to get in my eyes.the snorkel works very well, the dry top is very good, i have to work to stay under water and it stayed sealed even when i was thrashing around, the small amount of water that did work it's way in was easy to purge out the bottom.The way the mouthpiece is designed it has to go around the left side of your head, the way the tube is curved it ends up about an inch or 2 behind you, just about even with the top of your head, so it's easy to swim while looking down, and you can look up a little.the clip that holds the snorkel to the mask isn't bad, it's a little tricky to get hooked on but it's secure and feels pretty sturdy for a piece of plastic.

I read other reviews, so I was not expecting perfection. This is the first snorkel I have ever owned, so I have nothing to compare it to.I only want it for doing laps in the pool, not swimming so much as paddling with training fins to improve lower body strength after having had both knees replaced. I have neck and shoulder arthritis, so it is easier if I can keep my head down and not rely on my arms to propel me. Water can get into the snorkel somehow, so every couple laps I have to purge it or take it off and empty it. The mask needs to be positioned carefully and periodically tightened or water can leak in, also necessitating a stop to empty it. It is better than what I was doing before, holding onto a kickboard and straining my neck to keep my head up, or turning it to one side or the other (also painful). Maybe I will find a better way to do laps, or a better snorkel, but for now this one is fine.

I have used this mask and breathing tube several times now, and I find it to be a good mask. It does not get fogged up; it does not slip off or allow water to get in. So it has good suction power, and ease of use. The only critical point I have is that the way the tube attaches to the mask is a little awkward, and the angle that the breathing unit fits into your mouth is just very slightly off. But other than that, I really like it, and feel like it's a fine product that I highly recommend.

We decided to buy this one before heading down on vacation. First day I used it for only 5 minutes and it worked great. Second time in the water the mask started to fog up despite the ole spit and rinse technique that has worked fine with old sets. I also had the mask start to lose the seal several times while out in the water, which is touch to fix while treading water with sand shoes on. I had to come in quite a few times just to dump water out of the mask and readjust the snorkel.The snorkel clip I feel is a terrible design. It's hard to get onto the mask and easy to fall off of the mask. I took the mask off once or twice in the water to adjust and the snorkel came wright off. Then I had to swim back to shore to clip it on because it's just too hard to do while trying not to step on coral.The snorkel did function very well while on the mask. I dove down a couple times and it was super easy to blow water out. Water didn't come through the snorkel once. One way valve works perfect. Still, for the leaking and the little bit of fogging and especially for the hassle of the snorkel coming unclipped, I would not recommend this product unless you are snorkeling in an area where you can easily stand up to keep fixing your mask.

I purchased two sets of these for a trip my girlfriend and I took to Hawaii. We decided on the mask and snorkel so we didn't have to have used equipment but knew we could rent fins there and save space. First and foremost, even the counter guy at Hanauma Bay said he was impressed with these. He said they looked like very good quality. Once we got in the water, we were even more impressed. Being my first time, it took a second to get used to the breathing but once I did, the snorkel performed fantastically. I was able to deep dive to get good shots of fish and absolutely no water got in. The mask barely fogged in the two days in the water and once I pulled it off and used a little spit, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this product for the beginning to moderate snorkeler. Quality equipment that performs.
