LykkeIndigo Driftwood Interchangeable Gift Set in Indigo Denim Pouch

I love these!I bought some Knitter's Pride Mindful cables to go with this because they're MUCH better than the cables in this set. They're constructed the same way as the Chiaogoo Red Lace cables, but they're a tiny bit thinner, they're aqua, and they have inch markings printed on them. AND they're inexpensive. Plus, you can get them either as normal cables or with a swivel connection. I like the swivel connection because you can hold the tip and cable end in place and just spin the connection.The needle tips are smooth as silk, and have just enough "grab" to keep slippery yarns from sliding right off the needle the second you let go of your knitting!The needles just feel so nice and smooth, and they're a dream to knit with.But the Mindful cables make them perfect.If you're thinking about getting a set of Chiaogoo red lace needles for most knitting, the Knitter's Pride Mindful needles are equal in every way, plus you'll be able to use the mindful cables with this set, too.The CG and Mindful needles are great tools, but these are as good, and are so aesthetically pleasing to see and to use that they're a real treat!

I really, really like these needles! Usually I prefer a metal needle because of how yarn just glides off the metal tips.These are SO SMOOTH that I love them. For wooden needles they are close to being my favorites. They have the feel of wood, which I like in my hands, but the smooth surface I was hoping for. They have slightly more grip on yarn, but the needles and joins are perfectly smooth.I even used them with a 100% non-mercerized cotton in worsted weight and they were still so easy to knit with!They are also gorgeous! I bought the Indigo set and they come in a great case with plenty of room for the needles, cables, keys & end stoppers with still room for a few notions. They are all beautiful shades of blue with black cords. Cords attach easily and when tightened with the key they stay tightened. Overall I am happy with my purchase.Note: I am not a fan of the “Amazon Delivery” system. My Prime orders are almost always late when they are listed as delivering. I didn’t take stars away because I contacted customer service and they made sure I actually got my order the day after I complained. However, if I didn’t like the needles so much I would’ve taken stars away.

These Blue Driftwood (Birch) needles are beautiful. Smooth and warm to knit with. Laminated so no worries or concerns about color transfer (my pristine imperial baby alpaca Yarn is as white as the day I bought it) The tips have a decent point and length to them compared to others, but they are wood and the point is no comparison to my metal tips. The needles are not uniformly dark blue around, some are a bit lighter in areas. But all are blue 360 degrees. I love Lykkes guarantee and have heard excellent things about the company’s service should it be needed. Only down side to many of their interchangable sets is that they don’t have many cord lengths. Thankfully they are standard with many other brands, so picking up a few more is easy. The joins are smooth and I have had no issues with any yarn hanging up on them. Only wish now I could get extra interchangable tips in ‘Indigo’ for a few of the most popular sizes I use. There is always their standard Lykke sets, as well as ‘Umber’ set for those not in love with indigo.

This is my first complete set of interchangeable knitting needles and I’m so glad I splurged on these! The needles are beautiful and feel great to knit with—they’re extremely smooth. I love the slight variation in the shades of blue of the needles. The carrying pouch is really well made too, and has a suede-like feel to it.Do note that this doesn’t come with a 16” cable so if you want to knit small things you’ll have to use the magic circle method (and/or buy a 16” cable separately, which Lykke does sell). Finally I really appreciate that it comes with a blanket warranty—you just have to contact the manufacturer (Lykke) NOT the seller to get it.All in all, very happy with my purchase.

I am a newbie. Thankfully, I saw the value of an interchangeable set before I sunk too much money into an array of needles of differing sizes and lengths. I’ll admit to a bit of sticker shock, although the price here on Amazon is quite good. When you factor in the options, it’s an excellent value.This set is SOLID and extremely well made. Perhaps some day I’ll “graduate” to metal needles, but this Lykke set seemed to be a good investment in the meantime. They are already a HUGE improvement over the Boye circulars I was using and the feel of the LYKKE Needles is hard to describe, but they are heavenly. I’ll admit to being a sucker for eye candy (which these certainly are) but they are also a wonder of engineering.So far, I am enjoying several things about circulars over straights: no dropping or losing one (it’s all or nothing!); you have on hand just about any combination you would need; you can start out with a smaller cord and move up to a larger one as your project progresses. Love the cords; they have just the right amount of “substance” without being too rigid or having a mind of their own.As with anything, when you have the right tools for the job, the job becomes a joy. You wince at the cost of quality once, but you regret for settling for less over and over. I am hoping and trusting that I’ll be as enamored with these in the months and years to come as I am so far. Time will tell, but as of now, I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and recommend them highly to you.

Ein super Stricknadelset! Die Nadeln sind sehr gut und sorgfältig verarbeitet und sie liegen gut in der Hand. Es gibt weder raue Stellen noch Unebenheiten, so dass die Wolle auch gut und ohne Probleme über die Nadeln gleitet.In der Tasche selbst bietet sich viel Platz und Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten für das mitgelieferte Zubehör und es ist auch immer noch Platz für andere Dinge.Die Lieferung erfolgt sehr schnell! (Ich habe das Set zwei Werktage nach Bestellung erhaltet)Alles in allem eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.

I love my new knitting needles. The needles are smooth and easy to hold. They have just the right catch so that my yarn doesn't want to slip off. The interchangeable cords are easy to fasten and they are mailable enough that I'm not fighting to keep my project in place. It's so convenient to grab the kit and go. Ready for any project!
