Audizio Livorno Internet Radio Adapter with DAB, FM and WiFi Streaming, DAB+, Bluetooth 5.0, Optical & Aux Out, RJ45 Ethernet Connection, Colour Display, Remote, Black

I already use an excellent Amazon Input (like an Amazon Echo without a speaker) for streaming music and the BBC Dab stations I listen to through my hifi amplifier, but needed this to add internet radio after my brilliant Oxx Classic finally died. With a poor WiFi signal in my house, I required a unit with an RJ45 connection - this was the only one I could find that wasn't a full-sized hifi separate. Set up is a breeze, in my case with all leads attached, the internet connection being quickly established and DAB tuning being completed in around 5 minutes using the remote handset (supplied) - all without reading the supplied manual. Storing favourite internet stations and podcasts takes a while of course, but the search function is easy enough to use, while the Skytune list of available stations (used by the unit, no downloading necessary) is huge and I found myself adding a lot more. It's a small unit (looked at face-on it's about the same size as my Kindle Paperwhite), pleasing to the eye with a colourful, easy to read display that can be dimmed and a remote handset that works well from all angles. Sound-wise, I'd say it's good for DAB and FM, while internet radio quality depends on the stream being listened to, but I've found it to be very good linked to my hifi set up (using an optical cable - not supplied). In short, if you want a small-sized internet/DAB/FM radio adaptor c/w remote handset to link to your hifi, then this adaptor is a great choice as it'll probably have all you're likely to need - including an RJ45 connection!

The DAB+ and Internet radio are great. Very nice not to have to use my phone for music. I have also got the Wi-Fi working fir playing locally stored Hi_Res files. Having the the display is great. Music quality is top notch. I am using the optical out into a Marantz amp. Quite easy to set up.

Its functionality seems OK and if it is reliable (it's a replacement for the slightly cheaper alternative which failed after one week of use) it will be better than nothing. However it's got a rubbish UI. One cannot assign a button to a favourite so instead of 150 options to choose from a list of identified stations (e.g. DAB) one can have an unordered list of 150 favourites to scan through. Initially it seems like a task in itself to research what's available, via, e.g., internet radio and then having found them there's a second task to retrieve the information. There is regular problem that occurs after 3-3.5 hours of internet radio - it buffers or jitters (or something).

Really good bit of kit for the cost. Inernet radio, plus DAB and Bluetooth connectivity means that it's really versatile. Searching can be a bit tricky given that the input is via a remote control and a small screen, but ok when you get used to it. Instructions are in very very small print. Overall excellent value for money.

The only positive is is has a nice screen. Other than that, the audio frequency response is terrible, it's far from linear/flat and none of the EQ settings can make it remotely neutral sounding. DAB+ reception is a joke too, truly awful. Sending back.

Purchased to add DAB+ and Bluetooth connectivity to our old hifi, which still sounds great but lacks these features. Small and neat, easy to install and operate, and sounds great. Radio aerial is just a piece of wire but works well on DAB (not used it for FM). Just need to make sure put on an inert surface - put ours on the amp and it didn’t like it, moved to one side on a shelf and perfect. Very pleased with it, so bought a second one for another room.

Ça fait plusieurs mois que nous l'utilisons et il fonctionne parfaitement. On est dans une région où les radios sont difficile a capter mais où internet et la fibre fonctionne bien, alors c'est un appareil parfait pour recevoir les chaînes radio préférées.

Equipamento muito fraco. Não tem o idioma português. A aplicação de streaming que usa Skytune é muito limitada no número de estações de rádio portuguesas. A utilização online, que nem sequer é uma app, não permite operar o aparelho, apenas acrescentar estações de radio aos favoritos. Se utilizarmos a ligação LAN, já não tem acesso ao aparelho, só permite por Wifi. Muto lento na passagem de uma estação para outra. Uma desilusão. Vai ser devolvido.

Das Gerät ist schnell und einfach zu installieren. Die Eingabe des WLAN-Passwort mit der Tastatur ist nervig, der Rest ist top.

Das Gerät funktioniert gut. Allerdings bewegt dich im Inneren ein Bauteil völlig losgelöst. Ich habe das Teil noch nicht zurückgeschickt weil ich es brauche. Keine drahtlose Verbindung möglich, Klinkenstecker und Optoanschluss sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß zumal der anzusteuernde Empfänger nie mehr als 1 Optoanschluss hat und dieser in der Regel anderweitig benötigt wird. Kein Optokabel und keine Batterien für die Fernbedienung dabei. Insgesamt zuviel Unzulässigkeiten.

Habitant dans un secteur géographique où la radio FM passe mal , la solution le tuner connecté. C'est le deuxième que j'achète étant satisfait du premier qui fonctionne comme promis. J'ai un autre ampli à équiper dans une autre pièce. À noter que l'on peut régler le volume de sortie avec la télécommande et que le tuner comprend également un équaliseur intégré pratique pour améliorer votre vieille chaîne hi- fi .
