Perfect robe for ceremony

Our church needed an adult baptismal robe on short notice and I couldn't see paying the price for an "official" baptismal robe. This robe looks and feels nice, but since it is not weighted, I purchased some fishing weights and sewed them on the inside, just above the bottom hem. I would have sewn them inside the hem itself, so they don't show at all and bang around my washer/dryer, but the hem depth is very small. I also didn't realize how large and heavy a 1-ounce fishing weight actually is! Please note that while the robe is opaque when it's dry, once it's wet it's very see through. The gentleman being baptized didn't wear a shirt and that was quite obvious. I would recommend wearing a white undershirt for anyone using this robe for a baptism.

It's very thin material; see through if you're wearing dark color shirt underneath. Also the zipper is flimsy after one washing. To be fair it is also inexpensive and advertised as a baptismal gown, maybe to be worn a few times at most. I need it for regular use at church so I'll keep it until it gives out then look for a heavier one, which will cost more (of course).

This robe is made of good material and was just as size stated.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a white robe. It is a little smaller in the hips than I thought it was going to be. I am 5'7", 190lb. My hips are my biggest feature. I am probably going to just rip the side seams and add some more fabric.
