I got this light for my 5 gallon betta tank, and it works great. The width of the light is larger than I expected but I don’t see it as a con, and the amount of settings and customization it has is great for the cost. If there are things about it that I can I’m not agreeable with is that the 8 am time on the 24/7 cycle is strangely yellow and at the normal setting, I think the dimmest light could be more dim. I also can’t say anything about how it works with aquatic plants, as the plants I have in this tank are mostly slow-growing anubias species.The first picture is the lowest brightness setting and the second picture is at it’s highest. I wouldn’t say that the pictures are a 1:1 of how bright or dim they are in real life, and I believe the brightest setting is definitely more bright in person.My favorite thing about it is the transition between light settings and turning it on/off. It’s not an instant change and the light fades in and out as to not startle the fish.I mainly use the custom timer option over the 24/7 cycle due to personal preference.

The lights are nice and offer brightness. My one big con is the remote and how you get through the settings- it’s a bit tedious and unnecessary. Good value for the cost and nice size.

A very nice light you have the ability to set it up to look like morning , day and night by setting the times for change. Beautiful like nature

Cord wasn't attached securely and had to be re siliconed to the light body to seal it properly

We have a really old 10 gallon fish tank. There is a spot underneath the lid where I guess you could buy replacement lights. But it’s so old I couldn’t find any. And we need a tank top, we have kids and things are kind of flying all around all the time and I didn’t want anything to fall in the tank. So my husband altered our tank lid so he could attach a light. This one was too big so we had to send it back. Beautiful and bright light though.
