I love all of the Shea Moisture products, but the Deep Moisturizing Twist Defining Custard takes your dry curls to a different level of definition and moisture. My hair demands so much moisture, so I try to find products that will at least give it what it calls for. This product went a step above and gave me definition that I wasn't expecting. I received a lot of unexpected compliments on Sunday, lol. I try a lot of different products, but this one will be my go-to.

This is definitely a winner! It defined my child curls and kept them moisturized! I’ve tried many products but this one is bar far my favorite.

I have fine, curly hair. I need product to put in my hair to define the curl. This worked great because it is light weight and easy to scrunch into your hair. I didn't bother with sectioning and combing it in like the directions state to do. I just rubbed some between my hands and worked it into my towel-dried hair. When my hair dried it was not stiff or crunchy. The label describes this as medium weight, but I would say it is definitely more on the lightweight side. It has a very light scent that is pleasant. I am not sure how this would work on very heavy, thick curls, but it works great in my hair.
