Roman Lights 169481 7-Feet Tall Holographic Ropelight Palm Tree-Plugs In Statue

We have bought several of these for outdoors -- they stay out all year round and we live in southeast Michigan. The only issue is the 'fronds filling'. Prior to this, the manufacturer did not have the plastic (?) within the fronds; those were much better. The style today requires some holes to be punched into the material so that air can pass through the fronds. Without the air holes, the tree is constantly falling because of the wind. ~ diana

Easy to put together. did not need instructions. as far as the quality goes the rope lights are good quality, however the connecting prongs that connect one set of rope lights to another easily bend. you can bend it back with just your fingers. lights still work great after that minor repair. the frame of the tree is reasonable. the tree is sturdy. where all four branches come together is a little tough to slide into place because the rope lights get in the way and create a little bit of resistance. looks exactly like what is shown in the picture.

Bought this for my wife and she absolutely loved it. The lights are bright at night and it looks great. Unfortunately, the pole and base aren't all that sturdy and the pole bent in half in the wind. I plan to rebuild it using much stronger pipe......The tree really does look nice, but buyers should be aware that the hardware isn't the best.

This 7' light palm tree is great!! We've had it for 3 &1/2 years on our upper deck which has had lots of rain AND wind storms and was still working beautifully!!Now with its age and Hurricane Harvey visiting a bunch of lights are gone, so another one will be ordered!!NOW I see the same size tree I ordered 3 years ago from Roman has gone up $60!

The leaves have faded a little due to the fact that it's in the sun on our deck all the time. I'm very happy that I found this on Amazon to replace the older one that we had for yrs. Other than a little fading, love it and it's beautiful at night. We added a timer so that it stays on all night. Love it!!! Would highly recommend this if you love palms as much as I do.

This tree, which I love, came in a box that was easy to open. I am very bad at putting things together but this tree was a snap. I had it together with the lights on in about 10 min. Good instructions and very simple. It is my Christmas Palm this season. In the summer I will have it on my patio in the backyard. It is a little pricy but I think it's worth it. It seems very sturdy and well made.

I had a 6' lighted palm tree sold by a local retailer at Christmas so I am familiar with what the quality could have been. Unfortunately this palm tree is a very poor replication. Most of the cable ties for the leaves and trunk were laying in the bottom of the box broken and the rest are so brittle they will break soon. The metal trunk and stand are flimsy and will certainly not hold up if subjected to outdoor weather. The holographic leaves were green when I took them out of the box but within a few days outside, they have turned yellow. I like the looks of the lighted palm tree in the dark - it's just very poor quality at a high price.

Palm tree looks great, I have it at the beach. Problem is when it was received, almost all of the green zip ties used to hold the palm fronds together, were broken. I've had to go buy new zip ties and replace them all.
