aarkePET Bottle for Sparkling Water Maker Carbonator 3, BPA free with Details in Steel, 0.8 Litres

I bought these to go with my new Aarke carbonator, which came with one bottle but I wanted a couple more so I could have an unbroken supply of mineral water rather than using the same bottle over and over. More so as where I live you need to let tap water sit open for a bit to get rid of the taste of whatever tap water is treated with here.These bottles are stylish enough to put on your table, something that cannot be said about 2-litre supermarket bottles. They have a metal base and cap which makes them very stable and contributes to the clean look of the design. They look solid and incredibly well made. While not cheap I predict these will last for many years to come.The bottles come with a list of Do’s and Don’ts (for example they must not be put in the dishwasher, thankfully that information is on a sticker on the bottle itself too) and it’s important to hang on to that list so you can check, as one is bound to forget the detail after a while.Very happy with this purchase.

You need an extra bottle

The two bottom parts of the bottle separated from the bottle and needed to be glued back.On both the bottles I purchased.

It's a bit much for a water bottle, but it lasts months and months, and as a devotee of the Aarke carbonator I have little choice but to use it! I'm very impressed by the way it can be fully broken down into parts for recycling too.

Great bottle but I wish the fill line went completely around the bottle because whenever I place the bottle to fill it the line is never visible 😂 maybe it’s just my luck 🍀

This is the second time I'm getting this bottle. Good bottle overall, looks very smart with the matching Aarke Carbonator. And I couldn't find any other bottles that fit my carbonator as good as this one. But it has a big flaw which is the poor adhesion of the metal base. Over time, water seaps between the metal base and the plastic body of the bottle, and it weakens the adhesive that holds the body and the base together. My first bottle lasted just around a couple of months. This one is holding well so far.

When it says not dishwasher safe, it means it. I was lazy and chucked it in, and it came out looking like it was designed by the elephant man.... shame as it is a lovely bottle and looks like glass.
