I used this coco fiber to cover fresh soil put down to fill a space left by a small tree that died and was dug up and removed. This fiber mat, cut to fit that space, held up well during heavy rains and kept the fresh soil settled in place. The mat has now been removed and trashed in order to plant new grass to fill the space. I believe the cost was fair for the amount used for that space and another about the same size.

It's good product. Thickness toward edges vary from slightly thinner center. Not an issue for current project. Will by again

Works good in the garden

I don’t use this product for its main purpose. My short-legged dog cannot do stairs well so I have a ramp for her. The ramp lost its rough surface over time so I put a 12” wide strip of the coco fiber on it. No slipping!. I do have to replace the strip every 4 - 6 weeks. Rain and toenails loosens the fibers and begins to shred. Glad the cost is so reasonable. I also make shelters in the winter for feral cats and plan to shred the coco fiber for their beds. Fabric draws moisture and can’t be used. Hoping the coco fibers work in place of my usual straw.

Works well on snow, ice, mud.

I was on a mission this year to find ways to eliminate or minimize the need to weed without spraying anything. This was one successful attempt. I rolled this out for an instant walkway and it's stayed in good shape all summer long. I will probably even leave it in place over the winter and let it become a semi-permanent natural sidewalk.

I have purchased a lot of coir rolls, most to line raised beds. This brand is the best I have used by far. I was sorry to use all of it in the raised bed because it would have been so good for my orchids, so I came back and ordered more. It is easily double the thickness of other brands I have used, and I will keep ordering it, because they are not all the same.

These are advertised as being thick, they are only average but are consistent throughout the roll. It seems that finding really thick coir is difficult now. I used them to line the inside of my trugs under the thin liner supplied by VegTrug.
