Dyson Extension Hose

I got this little attachment for my new Dyson vacuum. It is a handy accessory to use additional tools with.

I’m very pleased with the official Dyson extension hose. It is only meant to make it easier to use the smaller, hand-held tools. It is perfectly long enough to use for holding the Dyson vac in one hand and the extension hose and tool in the other. We use it primarily to clean the slats on our wooden blinds and to clean under the couch cushions. It also makes cleaning the ceiling fan blades easier. I see a few complaints about it being too short. I disagree. It’s not meant for long distance cleaning away from the Dyson vac unit. It’s just meant to let you maneuver the attachments easier instead of having to lift the whole vacuum around. For only $25, Dyson really got it right!

This hose works just as expected. It’s a nice accessory to add to our Dyson.

This is the second time I get an adapter from Dyson that comes in a box that's not sealed and has been opened. The first time was with a free adapter that came with my V12 which was ripped apart by someone and now this extension hose in a box opened with a cutter. Is Dyson shipping them like this without letting ppl know?

This Dyson attachment disappoints with its short reach—less than an arm's length. Doubling the hose length would be necessary for practical use.Notably, this attachment isn't included in any Dyson package, likely because it lacks functionality. It falls short of expectations.

Great OEM accessory for any stick Dyson vac, but it's too short as other reviews have pointed out. Went with the Dyson one anyways because of the often poor fit of the off-brands that those reviews have noted.
