This longjack tastes very bitter, and some may call it disgusting, but that's not a valid reason to give this a bad review! Longjack is supposed to be extremely bitter! The worse it tastes, the better (lol).I really have no way of knowing for sure if this longjack actually works well, however, because I'm taking it with a bunch of other herbs at the same time. Another nice thing about this brand is the bag. It has a great seal and it's designed really well compared to other companies.

Some of the other reviews have said this has no aftertaste or very little. Maybe I just got a bad batch or something, because this is the most bitter thing I've ever tasted. It is bitter to the point of it being painful. I make green smoothies every morning and I put a lot of different powders in it, so I'm used to some of these tasting less than stellar, but I never have had a problem getting it down.If you're going to use this, make sure you mix it into something with a really strong flavor to cover it up, because blech.
