*Update* After leaving the below review Pamagoo reached out to me and determined that I needed a higher lift rating for my camper door. They stated that customer satisfaction was a high priority, and mailed me the new struts. That's amazing customer service. Thank you Susan and Pamagoo! *Original review below* Bought these for my camper shells lift up door. They worked well for about a month and now allow the door to fall on a regular basis. At first they held it up very well, now I need to make sure to push the door up to maximum and hold it for a second. Even then they allow the door to fall at random. Maybe I needed to buy a different product with a higher rating, idk, but these didn't work well for my camper shell for long. So if your considering these for that purpose maybe see if there is an option in this size with a higher load bearing.

I definitely recommend replacing an existing strut with one that matches the pounds of pressure required, I went a little heavier on this one to hold a door open more firmly, and I like it. These tend to wear out overtime so don’t be surprised if you have to replace one every once in a while but it’s great to have a source for that.
