wow! that was surprisingly easy! i thought id be gluing and cutting stuff. i didnt really know what to expect but this was so simple! i didnt use the 'tuning foam'. i dont think mine had it to start with and they were too big so i just ignored them xD everything sounds great!

Fit perfectly on my HD598, they seem to be great quality, no issues in fitting them. Although if you are used to the OG soft velur earpads these might be a dissapointment as these earpads are not as soft. They do not bother me but you will feel the difference.

They feel a bit firmer than the original pads. Maybe slightly less comfortable, but you quickly adjust or at least I did. I wouldn't say that they increased the noise cancellation as these are for open-backed headphones. Not really going to change that or the sound quality all that much. When compared to the price of the originals, this is a no brainer.

Definitely not a 1 to 1 replica of the original ear pads. Seem stiffer but they're still very comfortable and are a way better option than spending 100+ to buy another headset!

Fit great and comfortable. Very happy with product!Instruction video showing how to attach them is abysmal, however. Use the included tool to prise away old pads; just pulling the rotten old pads away as shown in the video will rip the foam away from the attachment rings and leave them behind, and the new ones on't fit as long as any remnant remains.

Bought them to replace the pads on my HD 599SE headphones. Great quality and the perfect replacements.

I have no idea how just some earpads does it but these manage to really mess up the quality of the audiofirst thing i noticed after swapping them in is that noises outside of the headphones were very distant including my voice as if they were blocking out outside noisesits like they just deaden the sound and make it all muffled - when you squeeze them they take a moment to return to shape so they could be using a much denser memory type foam than Sennheiser uses and this probably is the reason why the sound gets deadened so muchremoved and return processed within about 30 seconds of trying them out

Lo compre para unos audifonos negros, pense que no combinaria pero en realidad se ven bien cafe y negro, son muy comodos, buena calidad.

Van perfectas para el HD 598, espero que duren mucho tiempo.

Dopo circa 5 anni di onorato servizio le mie HD598 stavano per abbandonarmi, i cuscinetti degli ear-pad si stavano scollando in entrambi i lati e stavo pensando di buttarle. Ma ho acquistato questi cuscinetti di ricambio e li ho sostituiti. Sembrano un po' più spessi degli originali, ma potrebbe dipendere dal fatto che le uso da 5 anni.Sono molto facili da sostituire, se non sapete come potete cercare un video tutorial, si trovano facilmente.Davvero consigliati

Bought this to replace my original on HD598SE model.Fitting is quite easy, the product comes with tone tuning foam, which I didn't use. A small plastic clipper is also included with a cleaning cloth.
