I like the looks of this blue footstool. It's a good rectangular size. The legs are nice and the tufting is done well. The tufting buttons kinda hurt after your feet have rested on them for a while. I have sensitive feet though so maybe wouldn't do that to everyone. The height is a bit too low for me. My kids like to sit on and that's what it is currently being used for.

I'm a sucker for velvet, and lately I've been trying to incorporate more velvety pieces into our home. We've been remodeling, so it's the perfect time to add some new things that are stylish and functional, and this little footstool is just that! We mostly use it as a foot rest below our favorite chair, but I've also used it a lot lately when I need a boost, like painting when I can't quite reach the ceiling to trim out the walls. I was a little hesitant at first because the delicate style made me think it might not hold my weight, but don't let looks deceive you! This little beauty is sturdy and durable, and can easily hold me up for as long as needed, which is perfect because that means there's no need to invest in a step stool to tackle chores around the house that require something to stand on. I do, however, always cover it with a drop cloth or thick plastic so not to get it dirty with my shoes or drip paint on it. You definitely don't want to ruin the beauty of the velvet material that it's made from because it's absolutely gorgeous! The blue is a darker, vibrant shade that I've fallen in love with, and it adds a pop of color to the room. We painted the walls grey and put up a light shade of navy blue wallpaper along the bottom half, with black trim molding along the very bottom that touches the floor. This ottoman looks perfect, and it's getting so much more use than I ever would have ever imagined. It was the perfect choice, and I very highly recommend. It looks like it's worth so much more than it actually cost - great value for a beautiful and versatile piece!

I am one of those people who, if not sitting at a table or desk, requires his feet up in order to feel comfortable. It's my default relaxing position.The advertisement presents this as a footstool or a small ottoman, and if we're to identify it as an ottoman, the emphasis would definitely have to be on *small.* "Ottoman" to me connotes something of significant size that takes up a fair amount of space in your sitting room. This is definitely not that.Its size notwithstanding, this honestly fills the bill better than I thought it would — my initial impression was that it would probably be too small, and too short, in particular. Perhaps because our couch sits quite low, I have not found that to be the case at all. I find the resting height of my feet to be pretty much ideal, and whether in use or not, the piece doesn't dominate our relatively small room.Don't expect top quality materials like hardwood legs for furnishings in this price range, of course. The legs seem to be plastic, but they are solid and sturdy. If nobody gets carried away and uses it as a stepstool, I'm sure they will provide adequate support for a long while.The cover itself it lovely — even classy, in my opinion, and the workmanship appears to be good. Hopefully the material will hold up well over time.My wife thinks the footstool is "cute," and so far as I'm concerned, it's a welcome addition to our sitting room. It is certainly more comfortable than pulling up a kitchen chair to rest my feet on, and looks a lot better, as well.If the price were higher, I would not have given this 5 stars. But for around $35, I think it's pretty good value for what it offers.
