Why did you pick this product vs others?:Got these for rear door speakers in my 03 tahoe with the factory bose system. Fit is perfect, and sound is even better.

Works great for my e38

Used these to replace my 2001 BMW e38 750il DSP door speakers, should work on 740 door speakers as well. all the holes line up, and the factory wires plug right in no issues. Way better than the 25+ year old dried up speakers that were there. No complaints!
