I saw many left negative reviews because they can't read Japanese. No worries. I am going to translate the main characters in the menu here. This product only shows weight in kilograms, not in pounds. Upon taking another look at the Amazon USA site, I see that this fact is stated in the Q&A but I only read the reviews and missed the Q&A's before making the purchase. On Amazon USA, this fact should be much more clearly stated. I have owned a Tanita product that let you choose kilograms or pounds and assumed this product would do the same. Otherwise it appears to be a good product.
