I've been using this product for well over 6 months now to wash and condition my beard. I have spent a long time researching beard care products in the past and have even dabbled into making my own oils and balms. Personally, I prefer a natural product without parabens and other chemicals that aren't good for you in the long term.First of all, the product presentation is great. I think the branding fits well with the company name and everything I've received from Viking Revolution has been top notch. Premium box, nice bottles, great labeling, etc.Second, the scent is great. The easiest way to describe it is woodsy with mint. It isn't overpowering and lasts long enough for my liking.Performance: This is where I think the product really shines. I've owned multiple bottles, including the large 32 oz glass version and the 5oz samples. The wash and conditioner have been consistent in texture, consistency, and how well they work. The wash cleanses my beard and facial skin well, but doesn't leave my hair feeling super dry. It also rinses out easily without any residue. The conditioner also has a fantastic consistency and works like a charm. A little goes a long way! I tend to apply the conditioner and let it sit while I wash the rest of my body (with a Viking Revolution charcoal soap bar of course) and then rinse it out after. Again, no residue is left behind, but my beard always feels nice and soft.As a bonus, I've actually been using these for my head hair as well. I have fine straight hair and both the wash and conditioner work well for me. With that being said, I tend to wash my hair and beard every other day (unless I got extremely sweaty at the gym) and the 5oz bottles lasted me about a month and a half. I have medium length head hair and around 1 inch of beard growth normally.If you happen to be on the fence - just buy it! Great product, great company.

I've had pretty rotten luck with beard shampoos in the past. I generally like Viking Revolution, so I wanted to try these out. They are EXCELLENT. They're not overly thick so you get good longevity out of them. I've used these about every other day for about two months and still have a good amount left - not bad for a 5 oz size! The best part about them is that I get absolutely no beard dandruff when using them. Beard dandruff has been a constant struggle for me for years, and this is the first product that absolutely gets rid of it.As with all their products, the scents are top tier and smell exactly like what the label says they will. These smell VERY pepperminty. It's not overwhelming, but it is a pretty strong scent. Regardless, it's a very pleasant smell and if you enjoy that natural peppermint smell, you'll definitely like these. If you prefer a more neutral smell, I highly recommend the sandalwood. It's very mild and one of their more relaxed scents. If you like a more nature smell, get the Cedar and Pine, it's my personal favorite, and my go to for the beard oil and balms.

I've neither purchased nor used shampoo or conditioner specifically made for beards before, but the modest price for Viking Revolution's shampoo/conditioner set compared to other options I've seen—combined with its 4.7 out of 5 star average out of 100+ customer reviews—made it seem like the best one to try out first.First of all, both the shampoo and conditioner smell fantastic, so A+ work in that regard. In terms of how effective they actually are, while my beard does feel softer after using them, I can't say they leave my beard as soft as I'd like it to feel. That being said, I've had tremendous difficulty with shampoos/conditioners leaving my beard extremely coarse, fragile, and flaky over the last couple of years; after nearly a week of using their shampoo & conditioner, my beard has been flake-free and far less prone to split ends and broken hairs when I comb it, so Viking Revolution is definitely leaps and bounds ahead of any other hair-care products I've used so far.Overall, I'm happy to say that I'm satisfied with my purchase. I intend to shop around and try other brands of beard shampoo later on down the line, but definitely not until I'm through with theirs. Regardless of whether or not I end up choosing Viking Revolution as my go-to beard care brand in the future, I'm glad that this was the first one I've tried, because it convinced me that buying a shampoo specifically formulated to take care of my beard is absolutely money well spent.
