my husband put this together in a little under an hour, and it was fairly easy with simple instructions. everything that you needed to put it together came in the proper packaging. I took a star off because like others have stated, the wood finish is brighter in the pictures than it is in person which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to that. It is not a natural wood finish like the pictures look, but a little darker. The item itself feels heavy in an expensive way and the finish itself is gorgeous. The packaging came intact and the package itself three days early. For the price, I think that it is very worth it. I didn’t realize that the doors don’t open how you would assume but from a vertical way but that’s not a problem for me. We had to adjust the tightness on the hinges for a little while until the doors were opening properly. I give it a 4.5/5. It’s only been a few days but from how it looks and the sturdiness and feel, I would buy it again and plan to have it for years.

I assembled this TV stand alone, and while it took a few hours to put it together, assembly was easy. The final result looks beautiful and feel sturdy. Clean, neat lines and doors that align properly to hide additional books. The technical writer and illustrator for the directions were right on the money. Pictures were easy to decipher, and all the holes lined up perfectly. Even with the added delivery charge, I feel like this product was still a good value. Also, FedEx delivered with no damage to this TV stand and arrived five days ahead of schedule. Very happy with this buy.

Correcting my previous review. Originally said the color received was wrong, but I was wrong. It was the correct one and it was deliver ahead of schedule and the product looks really good. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Can't wait to see my upcoming new 75" TV with it

This is a beautiful sturdy piece well worth the money. I have learned over time that when assembling furniture a little preparation goes a long way. This comes with an Allen key. What I always do is cut the bent part of an allen key off and just insert the straight part that is left into my cordless drill. You will also need a couple of phillips bits for the drill to, one a bit smaller than the other. lay out all of your pieces and follow the directions carefully which are all diagrammed very very well. The last step is installing the hinges which stumped me for a second, but then i realized that after you attach the hinges to the door side you adjust the hinges to the fully extended setting before screwing them to the cabinet side. once that is done adjusting the cabinet doors is very easy, again if you follow the clear instructions for hinge adjustment provided. It has soft close doors! This piece took me maybe an hour and a half tops to assemble but if you just use the allen key as is and a screw driver i think it could take hours to put this together. I am really happy with my purchase.
