Welding requires a large welding helmet to protect the welder from the splatter associated with the application of welding, the garments designed to wear under the helmet serves two purposes, one, helps protect your head from splatter that may come over the top the helmet and two, the one size fits all is comfortable while cushioning the helmet bands. Good caps. A little tight. So you go one size larger than what is needed.

Very hot, elastic, so kinda looks like a diaper on your head…and is real hot. Might want to find a local welding shop.
