Best Hair Dryer I’ve Owned – Fast, Quiet, and Powerful
I’m writing this as a real customer — not sponsored, and not paid in any way. I absolutely love this Shark hair dryer. The quality completely exceeded my expectations. It feels high-end, lightweight, and very well made. From the first use, I could tell it was a major upgrade from my previous dryer. It dries my hair incredibly fast without leaving it frizzy or overheated. I have medium-thick, and very long hair, and now can be fully styled in just minutes. The airflow is powerful but controlled, and the heat settings are easy to adjust. The cool shot actually works like it’s supposed to, which isn’t always the case with other dryers. Another big plus is how quiet it is. Even with the strong performance, it doesn’t have that loud, harsh sound most hair dryers do. The attachments are excellent quality as well — they snap on securely and make styling smooth and easy. I’ve used a much more expensive brand in the past that everyone raves about, and honestly, this Shark dryer is better in both quality and price point. It performs in my opinion better, for a fraction of the cost. If you’re debating between this and a higher-priced brand, save your money and get this one. It’s powerful, efficient, and leaves my hair looking smoother and shinier every time. I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it.

Excellent blow dryer
Great, powerful blow dryer!! My hair dries in half the time as my last dryer. The dryer is lightweight and easy to control. Came with some attachments that I havent really used yet but will play with them. Highly recommend spending a little to get this!!

Finally tried it and I’m so glad I did
I have wanted to try a Shark hair dryer for a long time and was honestly so excited when I finally got one. I bought this for myself as an early Christmas present. I had been wanting to try it forever, and it did not disappoint. This dryer is not huge at all, but it has a lot of power and is very lightweight, which makes it comfortable to hold while using it. One thing I noticed right away is the cord. It is thick, heavy, and feels very durable, which makes the whole dryer feel well made. I also really love all of the accessories that come with it. Having different attachments makes it easy to switch up how I style my hair. The settings on this dryer are great. It does not get overly hot and it does not burn your scalp at all. The heat levels feel very controlled while still drying my hair efficiently, which I really appreciate. There is a bit of a learning curve, but not with the dryer itself. It works great right out of the box and setup is very easy. The learning curve is more about learning how to get that salon-style look. Once you get the hang of it, the results look great. My hair is long and thin, so it did take a little longer to fully dry, but overall I was very happy with how it performed. Functionality is excellent and it works exactly as expected. Ease of use and ease of setup are both perfect. I was especially happy with the value since I got it on sale with all the attachments included. Overall, I am really excited that I finally got this Shark hair dryer and I truly love it. I would definitely recommend it.

Better than your average hair dryer! Limited styling capabilities
I bought this hair dryer a year ago and really enjoy using it the 2-3 times I blow dry my hair each week! Previously, I only used standard Conair or Revlon hair dryers, and thought this would be a nice upgrade after receiving multiple Amazon gift cards. It does sound a bit like a jet taking off at first - the sound of the motor is definitely different if you’re used to a traditional hair dryer design. That said, I do think it’s quieter overall! I typically use the concentrator tool with a round brush and truly think it saves time over my old dryer. Lately, I’ve been switching from the concentrator to the quick smooth brush, which leaves me with a nice smooth blowout. I will say that my hair is typically lacking volume when I do this versus my typical round brush method, but it’s quick and easy when I don’t feel like whipping my round brush around! I do like how the iQ feature immediately adjusts fan speed and heat between the tools. That said, I wish this SpeedStyle were compatible with FlexStyle tools, but unfortunately, it’s not. I’ve thought about purchasing a FlexStyle in addition to this, but it feels like a waste of money. I do wish I had a round brush and curling wand features, but will stick with my curling iron for that I guess. For anyone wondering, I haven’t tried any Dyson hair products so can’t do a comparison to those. Overall, the Shark SpeedStyle is a wonderful hair dryer with a few attachment tools if you’re looking to upgrade form a standard hair dryer.

5 Star product…get it quick!
First use today—So far so really like the dryer. It was outstanding on my curly hair. Haven’t tried the other parts, but I’m sure they are going to work great too. It really does dry fast and hurray…no frizz at all. Weighs a bit more than my former dryer, but it works so fast and so good…I don’t have a problem. The diffuser is amazing..I’d say worth buying the dryer especially if you have curls or waves and would like some volume ( that was a fun bonus).

PROFESSIONAL HAIRDRESSER APPROVED
Hairstylist of 21 years approved! Literally the best hair dryer I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly lightweight even without the nozzle. The precision of the airflow is incredibly direct. Some people were saying that it was loud, but I do not think it’s loud at all.. at least not in comparison to other hair dryers used/owned, which is a lot considering the profession I’m in. I didn’t think I would use the other attachments that came with it but oh my God- they are now going to be an essential! I have a long fine / medium hair and because of my job, I have to make sure my hair looks on point all the time. This was purchased as my personal hairdryer however, I would definitely recommend this as a salon, professional level tool. The only critique I have is the power button- it is on the lower part of the handle which is annoying because instead of being able to turn it on or off with the flick of my finger I have to use both my hands to turn it on or off. Pretty annoying. However, because of the outstanding performance in literally every other category, I would still give it a 10 out of 10. That’s how much I love it. I have yet to use the diffuser, but I’m sure it’s awesome just like the rest of the attachments.

Pro Hairstylist review
I was rather skeptical and waited for a couple of years to purchase one of these products. I've been very skeptical of Dyson and will not spend what Dyson is asking $$$ In an industry where I can get my hands on many or most of the best products and equipment available on the market at wholesale. The blow drawers I typically purchase are at this price point. , but paying retail for one is frankly annoying. But I did. I received it yesterday and used it this morning as I was due for my biweekly blowdry, which usually takes me about twenty minutes for my hair to look like a giant literal tumbleweed just after. I've always had confused hair. And i'm fifty and my hair is processed blonde. I have 80% Gray at my hairline and 25% the rest. It's long. It's layered. It requires heat to look good. Review: I was honestly blown away by this little blow dryer. It felt great in my hands and the weight of it was surprisingly light. Professional dryers have some meat to them in terms of weight and they last us years. Anyone concerned about the weight of this blowdryer, for its manageable size, is frankly just being petty in my opinion. Very packable for travel and the high-speed, high heat is actually more than I need for my unruly hair. I felt that the medium in both was great. Dried my hair quickly, for sure, to the eighty five percent... I teach my clients to dry their hair to 85% in my salon, to avoid tiring their arms out, for a round brush finish. I'm glad that shark is instructing the same. There were labels on most of the pieces with QR codes for instructions online that I would assume are very, very helpful to customers. But the attachments were mind blowing, mind bending. The attached brush and the shine attachment where both shocking in their results. I'm not sure how they pulled it off. My hair certainly isn't finished for the day and I will still additionally curl it..... sidenote: I'm waiting for the flexstyle set in the mail so I can try the entire other system for curl..... but my hair is the smoothest I've ever seen with a blowdry in preparation for a very easy and very quick curling iron finish or flat iron. I'm frankly very excited about the flex style coming with my results from this set up. The power and fan and heat settings are thoughtfully located at the lower part of the handle to avoid accidentally presses... And the cool shot is very conveniently located at the inner bend where you can access it during your full blowdry. Please use the cool shot because your results will be 80% better. As well, I was very pleased at the angles that the attachments are thoughtfully positioned- Particularly the brush attachment at the angle's needed to pull and stretch the hair easily. The bristles on the brush were soft enough that they resembled a round brush. I was worried it would be too stiff and useless. I definitely will bother packing this for travel with the brush attachment. I probably would leave the gloss attachment at home. Because the brush does plenty to prep me for curling iron easily. Someone with lovely straight hair would really enjoy the gloss attachment the results. Always use thermal protection despite the fact that it says no damage. The heat and the fan on the highest setting blows the hair too much in my opinion, and might be too hot for anyone without coarse hair. But for those persons with very coarse hair, I feel this blow dryer will work well for you. Not sure how long it will last or how long the brush bristles will hold up, but i'm hopeful.

Too soon to tell
The hair dryer is definitely small and lightweight but packs a lot of heat. I like the black sleek look but I would prefer magnetic attachments although these fit and go on and come off easily locking into place. I have long coarse hair and so far this has definitely reduced drying time. I chose this because I didn’t want to pay the huge price tag of its competitor but I might depending on how this performs. The noise level is kind of loud. If it didn’t cut down my drying time by half it would be an issue. I’m confused about the reviews on the battery pack on the cord because mine doesn’t have that. I was concerned and actually called their customer service to verify. I looked at other photos and reviews and they did have that clunky pro pack midway down the cord but Shark Customer Service said my model number did not. I like the attachments. I use the nozzle to blow dry to about 80 percent and then use the brush and the smoothing attachment. I really like the brush and don’t find it awkward at all. The smoothing attachment works but sometimes I get my hair caught in it but I’ve only used it twice so not a deal breaker. The actual plug that goes into the plug socket is huge. I had to buy an adapter so I could fit it along with my makeup mirror plug. My house is not old so I thought that was odd. I’m not really a big fan of the scalp protector when you change tools. I thought it automatically adapted heat but I have to hold down the button to adjust and then I end up using regular heat because it seems too cool and takes longer. I do have to say that I like how quickly it dries my hair. It definitely makes it smoother and straighter resulting in less flat ironing. My coarse hair looks smoother and shiny. So far I like it but time will tell.
